Invisibility Cloak becoming more realistic at University of Texas
Back in 2006, we reported that scientists and researchers were laying out a blue print to build an invisibilty cloak that could perform the same basic function as Harry’s cloak.
Today, we are closer than ever as researchers at the University of Texas at Dallas shared a video that showcases their concept of nanotechnology, which in this case is the bending of light rays that creates a photothermal deflection to give the impression that the object is invisible.
Should invisibility cloaks stay in the fictional world of Harry Potter or are you ready for a real-world application of the cloak? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
