Video: Dan Radcliffe says “Harry Potter BAFTA nominations are wonderful”
Earlier today, we reported on the BAFTA nominations that took place in which Dan Radcliffe and Holliday Grainger presented the nominations. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 was nominated in four (4) categories this year including: Production Design, Sound, Special Visual Effects, and Make-up and Hair.
In an interview after the announcements were completed, Dan said how pleased he was for the nominations that Deathly Hallows – Part 2 received, especially for Amanda Knight and Lisa Tomblin for Makeup and Hair, as they were “kind of like my other mothers. Particularly Amanda for ten years and Lisa for five or six. So to see them nominated is amazing. I’ll be texting them shortly.”
Dan also commented that he would be really rooting for Gary Oldman – the actor who portrayed Sirius Black in the Harry Potter series – who was nominated for Leading Actor for his role in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.
Once again, Congratulations to the teams behind the four (4) nominations received for Deathly Hallows – Part 2.
