David Yates stated, “We worked so long and hard to finish the final movie, and I think our memories are working in the snow and rain and winter to finish it, so we’re very pleased that it’s been so well received.”
Daniel Radcliffe also sent a message for the award, “I’d like to thank the Empire readers for voting for us. I’ve always been quite a harsh judge of the series, but I was over the moon with this final film; I think we went out on a high note.”
Additionally, David Yates won an award for the Best Director for ‘Deathly Hallows – Part 2’, Gary Oldman won the Jameson Best Actor Award for his role in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.
