The Fan-made video series “Auror’s Tale” launches their Kickstarter program
MuggleNet previously shared an exclusive look at the new fan-made video series called Auror’s Tale, and to no one’s surprise, the fandom absolutely loved what they saw!
The plot:
New York City is a battlefield. Dark [M]agic rules the underworld. The NYC Department of Magical Law Enforcement (DMLE) is the only line of defense. Hawthorne is the force’s newest recruit and the dark criminals’ latest threat. Plunging into the nightmare that his occupation offers, he makes quick enemies of the most depraved wizard gang in America: the ever violent, ever twisted Hellhounds. AUROR’S TALE chronicles Hawthorne’s tempestuous adventures.
This is a completely new fan-made video series spawned from the passion and love for the magical world that J.K. Rowling created. However, production and filming does not come cheap, especially in New York City where the action is set! Therefore, they need the fan support through their Kickstarter program to raise the funds necessary to produce this film series for you, the fan of Harry Potter.
Your donations will go to the necessary equipment rentals, transportation costs, space rentals and other production costs. This is an entirely volunteer fan project and no one on the production team is making money from this series. With each donation you provide, you will earn rewards like t-shirts, posters, DVDs, and other swag, fans can also earn some of the props and costumes used on the set. Auror’s Tale has chosen Alivan’s Master Wandmakers, as their Official Wandmaker and they will be exclusively providing wands for the production.
