During the 2012 Summer Olympic Games Opening Ceremonies being held in London this evening, Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling made a special guest appearance.
Rowling read from Peter Pan during a segment that was dedicated to children’s literature, which has had an immensely popular impact on British culture for years. While reading the story, the Giant Voldemort that we reported as a rumor recently, along with other villains from British literature towered over the other performers.
We will have a full report of the 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremonies a little later!
