J.K. Rowling short-listed for ‘UK Author of the Year’
According to the National Book Awards website, the Specsavers National Book Awards will be held in the UK next month as writers from all different genres go head-to-head in a variety of categories, and J.K. Rowling has been nominated for UK Author of the Year for The Casual Vacancy.

TV host Lorraine Kelly will host a star-studded awards ceremony at London’s glamorous Mandarin Oriental Hotel on Tuesday, December 4. Highlights from the awards will be shown in Lorraine’s ITV1 show on Wednesday, December 5.
