Kazu Kibuishi discusses process of illustrating anniversary editions of “Harry Potter”

In the video above you can watch Kazu Kibuishi, author of the newly illustrated 15th Year Anniversary Harry Potter books, talk about the process of creating these designs. He sat down with a member of On Our Minds, the Scholastic blog.

Kibuishi discusses how he came up with each cover idea, how he felt when he was offered to illustrate these books, and what it was like dealing with memory loss during this entire process. It is an interesting and informative interview that helps Potter fans understand the man responsible for the lovely re-designs of our favorite books.
