Rupert Grint attends children’s Christmas party
ITV reports that Rupert Grint was just one of many who made an appearance at Downing Street for its annual Christmas party, hosted by Chancellor George Osbourne. The party, which was held in the state rooms at Number 11, had its very own Santa’s grotto to entertain children from the Starlight charity. This charity helps seriously and terminally ill children, providing entertainment in UK hospitals and hospices. Rupert was seen sharing a box of Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans with the Chancellor and one of the children.
Actress and co-founder of the charity, Emma Samms, said,
It is an opportunity for our young guests to escape the confines of the hospital ward for an afternoon and the chance to enjoy some festive fun with their families.
Other famous names in attendance were former Spice Girls singer Geri Halliwell, footballer Frank Lampard, and presenter Christine Bleakley.
