Harry Potter celebration: Warm Butterbeer review
Upon arriving for my breakfast reservation at the Three Broomsticks yesterday, the hosts informed us that a very special item was being offered off the menu that morning: Warm Butterbeer, a new alternative to the chilled and frozen versions typically available at the park.
I ordered a mug to go with my English breakfast, and I was utterly delighted by the beverage I received. Smoother than its popular frozen counterpart, the warm butterbeer was reminiscent of hot chocolate liberally flavored with butterscotch creamer, topped with a rich cream foam.
To be clear, it’s not that the Butterbeer tasted chocolate-like, but rather it’s the closest drink in consistency and experience that I can compare the warm Butterbeer to – except that the Butterbeer is far better!
Though it may be too sweet for some, I found warm Butterbeer to be the perfect Hogsmeade beverage for a chilly Florida morning. Here’s hoping Universal decides to add it to the menu permanently!
