J.K. Rowling on CNBC’s list of most influential people
J.K. Rowling has been named by CNBC in a list of the world’s top 200 influential people.
J.K. Rowling is among 200 people who CNBC has picked out as having had a major influence on business over the last 25 years. CNBC says that the list contains
“exceptional men and women [who] were hand-picked for the transformative impact they have had on business, commerce, and the way we live.”
CNBC describe the list as their
“take on 200 people who have had the greatest influence, sparked the biggest changes and caused the most disruption in business over the past quarter century.”
The list has been created in order to celebrate CNBC’s 25th anniversary, and over the next few months the list will be narrowed to a top 25. You can have your say and let CNBC know who you think should be at the top. You can vote for J.K. Rowling here, by selecting up to 25 of your favorites. The top 25 will be announced in April. J.K. Rowling is currently ranked #27, with about 1.1% of the vote.
