#LetsTalkLumos – Rowling Launches Digital Awareness Campaign
In the spirit of its namesake, Lumo revealed a digital campaign today to shine a light on the eight million children living in institutions and orphanages worldwide. Lets Talk Lumos hopes to engage participants around the world in conversation about how to end the institutionalization of children.
The digital campaign comes just days after the launch of their Indiegogo campaign, featuring two tickets to MuggleNet Live!, and their recent video.
But how can YOU get involved?
First up, via their website. Here you can discover more about the subject and share with others to enable them to understand this important children’s rights issues.
Secondly, help light up social media with a Lumos selfie! You’ll need a dark room, a source of light, and a camera. The easiest way to do this is to use the flashlight on a smartphone and get a friend to take your picture, but you can use any light source to get the same effect.
You could even use this image!
