With all the amazing conventions that take place every year, we know it can be a hard decision choosing which one to attend. So these are the top five reasons why we believe you should choose us!
1. The chance to attend a rare Potter-centric event – in the UK
As the No.1 Harry Potter fansite, we hear a thing or two! And what we hear most often is the lack of Harry Potter events in the place where it all began.
Well, you called, and we answered. Expo Patronum is taking place in the heart of London, at one of the capital’s most popular convention centers, minutes away from a number of film sites and just a short train journey to the Studio Tour.
2. You will see EVERY guest
None of this hanging at panel doors and peering into photo shoots for a glimpse of the biggest names. Due to our fancy multi-track system, you are guaranteed access into all FOUR panels. And with all talent appearing on a panel, you will see each and every one of them.
If your favorite actor has yet to be announced, be patient! Many of them are reviewing their schedules for April, but there is still plenty of time for them to sign on.
3. Putting the EXPO in Expo Patronum
The expo part of MuggleNet Live! isn’t just any old vendor room. This part of the event is what we think makes it extra special… and a tad exclusive! Leading members of the community will be on hand to offer talks, provide displays, and answer all of your burning questions. 4. We’ll guarantee you the opportunity for autographs
With no Quick-Quotes Quills on hand, it would be impossible for every guest to sign autographs for all 1,000 attendees. However, we have it on good authority the amount of signatures that can be signed in a hour, and as such, we’ll do our best to make sure that the amount of people assigned to each autograph session won’t exceed that amount. And with at least two talent members in each session, there is a strong possibility you’ll walk away with more than a couple of autographs – at no extra cost. No small matter, considering most of our guests charge upwards of £20 for an autograph at other conventions!
5. To support your favorite Harry Potter fansite
99% of MuggleNet’s staff members are volunteers, and all of us working on the convention (a team of six!) are doing it entirely for freebies. MuggleNet Live! won’t be lining our pockets. Any profit, if any – London is pricey – will be split between Lumos and ourselves, all of which will go DIRECTLY back into the website.
