Waterstone’s Piccadilly to host Harry Potter Book Night
If you are in the London area and excited for the new editions of the Harry Potter books illustrated by Jonny Duddle, then you are in luck! Waterstone’s Piccadilly will be hosting a special celebration for Harry Potter Book Night on Thursday, February 5 at 6:30 pm. Tickets are three pounds for Waterstone’s card holders and five pounds general and can be bought from the shop or online here.

Join us in honour of the first global Harry Potter Book Night, a celebration for new and existing fans hosted by author/journalist Damian Kelleher and featuring special guests, including star author Laura Dockrill. Hear how illustrator Jonny Duddle set about imagining Harry Potter for a fresh generation of readers. Glimpse the secrets behind Pottermore and hear from the fansites who have loved Harry Potter from the very beginning. This event will include readings from the books, which you – the audience – will get to choose. Dress code: [w]izard, [w]itch or Muggle. Prizes will be awarded for the most imaginative costumes. Especially recommended for ages 9-11.
