VIDEO: Watch J.K. Rowling launch Lumos USA at Empire State Building

We posted yesterday about J.K. Rowling’s launch of Lumos USA, the New York City branch of the author’s charity that works to end the institutionalization of children around the world. Rowling launched the new branch by publishing an article about the necessity of Lumos’s work and by holding a press conference atop the Empire State Building. Today, we’ve got video of her announcement – check it out below:

Jo also appeared on the Today Show this morning to discuss the launch. Congratulations all around on the launch of this new branch! May it help to bring a little light into parts of the world where it is most needed.
