Daniel Radcliffe Joins Campaign Against BBC Cuts
Daniel Radcliffe has recently joined a whole host of well-known British names in a video that expresses their support for the Great BBC Campaign, a campaign running against cuts being made to the broadcasting company.
The video, created by Simon Curtis, shows the stars (which also includes Sir Ian McKellen, Dame Judi Dench, James Corden, Tom Hooper, Richard Curtis, and more) talking about why BBC is an inspiration to them and why they want to support it.
In the video, Dan talks about how it was thanks to BBC that he was given his first ever role in its adaptation of David Copperfield,
I got to work on the first job I did with Bob Hoskins, Maggie Smith, Ian McNiece, Imelda Staunton, Paul Whitehouse, Emilia Fox… it just goes on and on.
The tagline for the campaign states “Don’t let the BBC become a memory. Fight for it.” You can watch the video below, Dan’s appearances being at 3:39-4:09 and 5:47-5:55.
