Join Newt Scamander in His Magical Adventures… as a Real Wizard!
After all those years of endless tears and excuses as to why our Hogwarts letters never arrived in the mail, something truly magical has occurred.
To that end, all you Potterheads still reeling over the missed opportunity of obtaining an education at one of the most prestigious magical schools in the world, listen up! As Headmaster Albus Dumbledore wisely states, “It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live.” Fortunately, it appears that our constant dream of dwelling in the magical world has finally, to an extent, come true!
With the release of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them on November 18 (click here for our very own SPOILER-FREE review), fans will be given the opportunity to experience Newt Scamander’s world… with the assistance of Muggle technology! That’s right. By using Google Daydream View, a virtual reality headset, you can experience an exclusive demo of Fantastic Beasts at a location near you.
Daydream, which officially debuted at London Comic Con, offers fans a beautiful 360 degree view of Newt’s cluttered shed. Even better? You will have the ability to levitate magical objects with your very own WAND (kindly provided by the hand controller from the Daydream View headset)!
This “reality” will truly give fans the spectacular feeling that they are genuinely part of the wizarding world! After all, to hear Newt’s voice teach actual magical spells and introduce his fantastic beasts will certainly cause the utmost giddiness and pleasure to all Potterheads.
Oh, and for those of you who would rather witness the beasts up close and personal, you can see Newt’s magical case of beasts at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour in Hollywood!
