Tom Felton Narrates “Deliciously Dark” Tales by Roald Dahl
If all you know of Roald Dahl is Matilda and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, then you are missing out on some of his best work: his surprising, and often dark, fiction for adults. Though the most famous are probably “Lamb to the Slaughter” and “The Landlady,” Dahl wrote several short stories for adults, most of them shocking. Now, a new collection of these tales will be released August 10, 2017, and the audiobook will feature the voice of none other than Tom Felton!
Tom reads three of the stories in the collection, which will be available from Penguin Books UK on iTunes and Audible in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. These stories have never been published in audio form before. Tom’s collection is titled Trickery, in which “Dahl reveals that we are at our smartest and most cunning when we set out to deceive others – and sometimes, even ourselves,” according to the summary.
Tom posted a photo of himself recording in the London studio on his Instagram a few days ago. It seems Tom had a great time with the recording!
