“Fantastic Beasts” 3 Filming Pushed to Late Fall
Warner Bros. just announced the release of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald on digital download and Blu-ray. Now we’ve learned that filming for the untitled third Fantastic Beasts movie has been pushed to the fall of 2019.
Could the two announcements be related? Deadline Hollywood has speculated that the announcement is nothing to be alarmed about – the production team simply needs more time to work on preproduction before filming can begin. Crimes of Grindelwald has only just been released, and the team could definitely use more time to work on the preproduction for the next film.
Of course, fans are wondering if this is a direct result of the somewhat lackluster box office results of Crimes of Grindelwald. Sequels have been pushed before due to the box office numbers of the previous film. But after the exciting ending of Crimes of Grindelwald, hopefully, the release date of the third movie won’t be pushed out so we can get answers!
As of right now, all we can do is speculate as to the exact reason why filming has been pushed. Hopefully, this delay just means that the third film will be perfect by the time it reaches our screens!
