Rupert Grint to Star in “Servant” on Apple TV+
The entertainment world has been buzzing over Apple’s new streaming service, Apple TV+, and the host of exciting new shows that come with it. Several Hollywood A-listers will appear in nearly a dozen original series, including our own Rupert Grint!
Grint stars in Servant, a psychological thriller from M. Night Shyamalan and British TV writer Tony Basgallop. The ten-episode series was produced and written by Basgallop and executive produced by Shyamalan, who also directs the first episode.
Servant reportedly follows parents Dorothy and Sean Turner, who have hired young nanny Leanne to help care for their newborn child. As time passes, however, the Turners, played by Lauren Ambrose (Where the Wild Things Are) and Toby Kebbell (Fantastic Four), realize that something isn’t right. Game of Thrones‘ Nell Tiger Free plays Leanne, while Grint plays the mysterious Julian Pearce.
Little else is known about the series beyond its planned release in the fall of 2019. Check out the sizzle reel from Monday’s announcement below and join us in theorizing about Rupert Grint’s role in this thrilling new drama.
