Social Media Roundup: Going Back to Hogwarts
It’s time for another Social Media Roundup! In this week’s edition, wizarding world stars shared their back-to-Hogwarts stories, posted about adorable dogs, weighed in on the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child news, and much, much more.
First up, Emma Watson paid tribute to photographer Peter Lindbergh, who sadly passed away this week. Lindbergh worked with many stars over the years, including Watson, who shared her thoughts on Instagram.
No doubt tired from his travels (check out the last edition of the Social Media Roundup), Tom Felton spent some quality time with his adorable dog, Willow.
Of course, we can’t forget that it was Back to Hogwarts Day on September 1! Some wizarding world stars made sure to celebrate the day.
Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley) shared a message for all the first years starting Hogwarts this year.
Ellie Darcey-Alden (young Lily Potter) took to Twitter to wish Potter fans a happy September 1.
Happy September 1st to all my witches and wizards out there! ✨😉

Meanwhile, the London cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child took celebrating to a whole other level. First, they wished their followers a happy Back to Hogwarts Day.

Then they dropped in on unexpecting passengers at King’s Cross station…

And finally, speaking of Cursed Child, Chris Rankin got us all dreaming of yet ANOTHER Harry Potter play.
In response to the news of the play’s logo change, Rankin humorously suggested that the next news from J.K. Rowling would be a theatrical play following the story of Percy Weasley.
Looks like I’ll have to wait til the morning to tell you all @jk_rowling‘s latest stage adaptation
