A Little About Me: I founded MuggleNet 10 years ago. I was 12. I was bored. And homeschooled. Now I'm 22. I graduated from Notre Dame. I have two brothers, Dylan (20 - scroll down) and Drew (10). They are awesome. I play lots of sports. I am a HUGE nerd. I read between 100-200 non-fiction books a year. I'm a pathological optimist.
At first, I thought I was 'too cool' for Harry Potter. Wizards, broomsticks?! Kid stuff! Then I read the first two books in one night. And PoA the next night. And started MuggleNet a month later.
I co-founded GivesMeHope. It's like FML, but happy. I co-founded Givoogle - raise money for charity every time you use Google! You should use it.
I met JK Rowling. Yes, it was the highlight of my life. The night Book 7 came out was crazy. I proposed to my girlfriend Gaby Montero at a Chicago Bulls game. She's adorable. Geraldo likes me. This news anchor is dumb.
By the way, if you email me and don't get a response back, please don't
take it personally. My typing monkeys have been threatening to strike, and my inbox is a disaster area.

A Little About Me: I'm currently in my second year of college in sunny Southern California. That should mean that I'm always busy studying. However, I find myself being distracted by Harry Potter. MuggleCast keeps me busy on a weekly basis, MuggleNet's news keeps me busy on a daily basis, and managing the site and its staff keeps me busy on an hourly basis.
Strangely similar to Jamie's story, I too learned about Harry Potter when my teacher read Sorcerer's Stone to my class. Soon after we finished reading it, I went to the local book store with a friend to pick up a new book to enjoy. To my huge surprise, RIGHT at the front of the book store was the "Newly Released" Chamber of Secrets. I purchased the book and began reading it with a friend during our millionth sleepover.
It is nice to reminisce about how I first heard of the book. Thanks, Mrs. Wilson!

A Little About Me: I first started working for MuggleNet in July 2005 after sending in some thoughts on the first ever episode of MuggleCast. I offered to do the transcripts for the show and things kind of went from there. A few episodes in, I was doing the weekly news round-up and am now a full-time host, helping plan every show. I have a whole team of transcribers and editors working with me to make sure the show's transcripts are in order. I will occassionally post news on the main site and am constantly trying to come up with different ideas and projects (Ministry of Magic Elections) now that the books are finished. When not working on MuggleNet, I am busy trying to find a "real" job.

A Little About Me: Henry B. Adams said that a teacher
has the power to affect eternity - because one can never tell where one's
influence ends. I can, therefore, only guess at what Jo Rowling must feel
like, having seen first hand the progression and expansion of the HP series
and its fandom from my own perspective as a MuggleNet staffer since November,
2002. I've been here a long time on this site, and dearly love the Harry
Potter books and my position here to bits. My main contributions to the site
today lie in judging and producing each week's Crazy Caption Contest, and
taking up my co-hosting role each week on MuggleNet's podcast, MuggleCast. The
fruit of my labors has most definitely transpired in the vast locations where
I have traveled on behalf of or in connection with the site, podcast, or my
esteemed colleagues, which most recently was London, England where we attended
the Book Seven release party in Waterstones bookstore, Piccadilly Circus.
Originally from Reading, Pennsylvania, USA I completed my first year
of tertiary study at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand
and have returned to the States hoping to continue my college education where
I reside currently in Chicago, IL. No time difference has kept me from my work here
on MuggleNet, and the most rewarding bits of it are the responses from fans
who enjoy the content and discussions we work to provide. Recent updates have
included the emergence of the Caption Contest v2.0, which allows for even MORE
user interactivity. Check it out!

A Little About Me: I was about 9 or 10 when I began reading the first Harry Potter book and was immediately hooked. Apart from getting me reading again, they also inspired me to join the online community of Harry Potter fans on MuggleNet, where, in 2006, I became part of the staff. Working for the site is an amazing experience and helps express my passion for the books.
When I'm not busy working on the site or studying I love spending time with my family and friends. Music is quite significant in my life; I enjoy playing the keyboard and listening to music from bands like Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, Taking Back Sunday, Lost Prophets, The All-American Rejects, Arctic Monkeys, Linkin Park and Yellowcard, to name just a few. Just as significant is watching some of my favourite TV shows, which includes 24, Lost, Prison Break, My Family, The Simpson's and Little Britain. I also share Rachel's obsession for football.

A Little About Me:I began working at Mugglenet in 2004 and surprisingly, it's been quite a journey. I've done my part in helping the site into what it is today and I could not be any more proud. These days, I can be found editing the site and posting news from time to time. It's been a great experience for me and I don't regret that first day I decided to devote my free time to one of the biggest Harry Potter fansites
in the world.

Favorite Movies: Disney movies (especially, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast...), 10 Things I Hate About You, Juno, Rent, Grease, Pearl Harbor, My Best Friend's Wedding
Favorite Music: The Beatles, Queen, Jason Mraz, Stevie Wonder, John Mayer, Christina Aguilera, Michael Buble and show tunes.
A Little About Me: I'm a college junior double majoring in Journalism and Spanish. I grew up around the world, but I'm currently attending college in New Mexico. I got into Harry Potter when I was 9 years old and my cousin suggested Sorcerer's Stone as a nice bathroom read. Little did I know that the book I was so hesitant to read would change my life. I didn't discovered MuggleNet, however, until around 2005, but became an instant fan. I applied for the internship a few months ago on a whim and it's been a great ride ever since!
I also love politics, literature, movies, musicals, dancing, baking and watching football and hockey on the rare occasion that I have some free time.

A Little About Me: I got involved with Harry Potter when my brand new,
and now best friend, forced me to watch Sorcerer's Stone. I immediately
fell in love with the characters, and simply had to read the books. Harry
renewed a love for reading that I had long since lost. I stumbled upon
MuggleNet shortly after and became a frequent visitor. I was lucky enough
to be hired on in 2007 by Becky as a gallery coder. I took over Fan of the Week in February 2009 and since
then I have met some amazing fans and I look forward to meeting more!
I graduated from college in 2003 with my degree in photography and became
a small business owner in 2005. Someday I hope to take portraits of my favorite
celebrities, such as (besides Mrs. Rowling) Kate Winslet and John Mayer,
whom I am a HUGE fan of. I never miss The Office, Deadliest Catch, or Mad Men.
I am in love with my MINI Cooper Convertible and wouldn't
trade it for the world. Well…maybe for a chat with Jo.

A Little About Me: I've been with the MuggleNet since September 2004, and there is no better HP site anywhere! The best people you would ever want to meet work here and visit here. My main job is working in the books section, finding all those little things Jo likes to hide and tease us with, and there are LOTS of them! And while I'd love to do this full time, I have to work for a living as a database analyst. Any other time is spent with my son, jack, going to soccer, cub scouts, motocross (yes,I have insurance). I am yet another one of those obsessed people on MN who love all things Harry Potter. Thankfully, Emerson finds us and keeps us off the streets. Well, sort of. Except for Andrew and Ben.

A Little About Me: I'm MuggleNet's resident photoshop wizard - I do all the graphics and image work for the site. How did I get this coveted position? I'm just that good. On a completely unrelated note, I'm Emerson's brother. So I also get to tag along at the movie premieres and press events he goes to.

A Little About Me: I am a college bound kid from New York. My favorite hobbies are reading good books, writing short stories, and working as counselor at a summer camp. Like to keep fit, too....Also I like to make comparisons between my life and Harry Potter and immediately voice them to whoever happens to be around. Fortunately, I happen to resemble him! Do you not see it?
I entered the Potterverse later than most, actually just after book 6 was released. As my interest peaked, I found my way to Jo's site and inevitably discovered MuggleNet.com. The endless pages of speculation and colorful layouts were what grabbed me the most. Not wanting the magic to end, I applied for the internship offered a few months ago and got it. Since, I've co-written two sections on Level 9 and have brought some changes to Fan Art. I don't really know where my life will go from here, but I am sure of one thing: I will marry Emma Watson, or a remarkable look-a-like.

Favorite Food: I've been having an ongoing affair with cereal and poptarts.
A Little About Me: I really didn't get into Harry Potter until around the release of book five, but by the time book six was out I was a Mugglenet addict, sometimes checking the site multiple times a day. When the amazing MuggleCast came out, I became a massive fan of that as well, and have listened to every episode since.
In 2006, I landed a job over at Project Legilimensia where I am now one of the leaders. When I read about Mugglenet's Internship opportunity, I applied immediately - and here I am. Now I am a freshman at the University of Louisville, and my love for the Potterverse has never been stronger. Feel free to add me on Facebook or follow me on Twitter.

Favorite Movies: Phantom of the Opera, Shakespeare in Love, Pirates of the
Caribbean, Across the Universe, and this other one, what was it?
Henry...no, Harold, no, no...wait, I've got it! Harry Cotter! (heehee...)
About me: Hmm...Lets, see. Where to begin. I like Harry Potter, in case
you haven't guessed. But do you know why? I bet you don't. Here, get this:
in the summer of second grade, my mom bought this book while we were in
Maine. It was about a boy wizard, and a school in a castle, and a guy who
had two faces (I told her that it was literal, I told her!) The rest, to
be exceptionally cliche, is history.
A Little About Me: I could give you my rant about how Harry Potter equals life, but that
would fill novels. And why would anyone read those things? But here, lets settle for this: since that fateful day, I've seen Harry Potter change lives, mine included. And the thought of potentially affecting more lives for the better by working on this site thrills me. Being a reader, intern, and now staff member of MuggleNet has taught me that Harry Potter isn't just a book anymore, but an unstoppable force, capable of spreading friendship, love, and literacy skills. And that, my friends, is totally awesome..
