In a shocking twist, the BBC has learned that Rupert Grint is sad that filming of the Potter franchise is coming to an end:He told Newsbeat: "I'm just trying to make the most of it really because it is going to end. I think it is going to be sad, but I'm ready to move on as well.
"At the moment we've got so much to do. Because it's two films it's going to take a year."
Rupert also talks briefly about his kiss with Emma:
He admitted that snogging Emma, who plays Hermione Granger in the movie, was a bit weird.
"We were dreading it to be honest, because we've grown up together and it just seemed wrong really," he said.
"It was fine. We just really believed we were Ron and Hermione and not Rupert and Emma and it was OK. It was only a few takes, so it didn't last long."
Thanks to Steven for the tip!

Heart Radio interviewed the trio last month as they made their press rounds promoting Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Of particular interest was Dan's revelation that "there is a Quidditch element to one of the rides." He also talks about Nagini's role in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. In the interview, Emma admits she would choose Ron over Harry, and Rupert talks more about his ice cream van and Swine flu.
The interviews include much more, so take a listen here! Many thanks to Snitch Seeker!
The Los Angeles Times posted a never-before-seen photo of Dan Radcliffe and Rupert Grint, taken the day they first met. Producer David Heyman took that picture 9 years ago and he reflects on the Potter franchise and the trio in this interview.“I know they all will have great success in whatever they choose to do,” Heyman said at his Watford office, putting away his photo collection. “Emma is astonishingly bright. She is radiant and relaxed. Dan is extremely focused on his acting, and I have the fortune too to read his poetry and short stories, and there are some major poets who have written the most glowing, supportive things about his work. And Rupert — Rupert is the most natural comedian of the bunch. I think that he is like an old person in a young person’s body. He is a wonderful eccentric, a distinct original.”

Dan and Rupert appeared on NBC's Today Show this morning. Check out Dan Radcliffe as he shows off his competitive side and Rupert Grint talking about swine flu and more on snogging. Also, yesterday we posted videos of Dan's appearance on It's On with Alexa Chung, but here are better quality videos:

There are two new interviews online this morning that each interview a Weasley sibling. The first one is from The London Evening Standard with Bonnie Wright. Among other things, she talks about how to survive the Potter set after all these years:
'In a banqueting scene, you must never be filmed actually eating,' she says very seriously.
Otherwise you'll have to keep on for the sake of continuity. The food gets cold and stale, and you start to feel really sick.' (Especially if the director is David Yates, notorious for his numerous retakes.) You have to make sure the spoon only goes as far as your lips.'
Meanwhile, The Telegraph spoke to Rupert Grint. He dished on the big kiss with Emma and his dating life:
"I've never been seriously involved with anyone. I've certainly never been in love. I've always preferred to keep things casual," he said.
"It's not that I find it hard to meet girls – they do come up and chat me up from time to time. Sometimes I'm interested, I tend not to go for the prettier ones. I prefer the quirkier types."
With the New York City premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince just two weeks away, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint are scheduled to appear on Live with Regis and Kelly on Thursday, July 9 and Friday, July 10, respectively. We will of course make video of these two interviews available once they occur. Thanks to HPANA for the tip!
A new photo of the trio from Empire Magazine will be on display at the Empire Exhibition in London on May 21st, according to Emma Watson's official site.We first saw this photo a few weeks ago when it appeared in Empire Magazine's 20th Birthday Issue.
Getting my bum cast. They were making a chair for the broomstick to make it more comfortable and have my shape. I was wearing these skinny trousers and I had to sit on this chair and they managed the exact shape of my bum. They turned it into a really comfortable chair.
Also The Weasley house when we burned that down. That was an exciting part. We were standing quite close to it, a burning building, and it was quite scary and I think it got a bit out of control. That was a lot of fun.
Thanks to Brandon for the tip!
Unfortunately, the Ron Weasley actor isn't scheduled to appear at the Festival.
(Thanks, UHP!)
