Julie Walters

Julie Walters talks David Yates
In a new interview, the Mrs. Weasley actress discusses HP 5's director and explains how he captures the emotional depth of the book, and the atmosphere he creates on-set.

"He's very unassuming; they were in a way, Alfonso was, but he's fantastic. [David] is very into the emotional truth of it, the kids absolutely love it; he's very sweet and kind, and very, very into the story like a child is. And he's really into the emotional depths, and he's really fantastic, he's a lovely man."

New clip from Dan's appearance on 'Extras'
Ricky Gervais, the creator and director of "Extras," was interviewed tonight on UK late-night talk show Jonathan Ross. During the interview, several clips from the new series of "Extras" were shown with one featuring Daniel Radcliffe. Thanks to Mandy, we have a video of what was aired below. However, the content of the video is in no way child-oriented and we therefore advise you to view with caution. Click here to see it.

Julie Walters also made an appearance on the show where she spoke a little about Driving Lessons and the trio, saying that she found it surprising that they were still so normal and down to earth. Thanks to everyone who emailed!

Julie Walters: Rupert's a 'fine actor'
Julie Walters: Rupert's a 'fine actor' In a brand new interview, Julie Walters (Mrs. Weasley) talks about her current acting projects, Driving Lessons, the publication of her first fiction tome, and much more. On Potter, she says she will film her scenes for Order of the Phoenix sometime this fall, and confesses to not being quite an avid reader of the books, although her daughter is.

Additionally, she discussed starring in Driving Lessons alongside Rupert Grint, and also how he, Dan, and Emma have grown immensely since the first film:
"I love the time that I'm in his [Rupert's] company. He is a terrible giggler. He sees or hears something funny, and he's away. I see his shoulders start to twitch and I'm off too.

"But he's grown up so much in the last few years. At the premiere of the first Harry Potter film, my husband Grant turned to me, pointed at the three young stars, and said 'Look at them, poor things'. They were on the red carpet, there were camera flashes going off all over the place, and they were just kids. Grant said 'They look like three little rabbits, caught in the headlights of an on coming car'. A few years on and they now have assurance and poise. But not in that sort of pushy 'look at me' way."
