David Heyman speaks further about HBP delay
David Heyman speaks further about HBP delay ComingSoon.net recently sat down with the producer of the Potter films to talk about his upcoming film The Boy in Striped Pyjamas. Thankfully for us fans, they also asked him about the Half-Blood Prince delay to July 2009.

In the interview, Heyman confirms that the film is complete except for one 'tweak' they'll be making. He also says that to prevent the film from leaking, it will not be pieced together until it has to be printed for theaters (six weeks prior to opening). Read the piece for David's thoughts on the delay itself, too.

Coming Soon also had a quick interview with David Thewlis in the same article. He says that the romance between Tonks and Lupin will be set up in Half-Blod Prince in preparation for Deathly Hallows.

EDIT: Moviehole.net has two interviews with David Thewlis from the same press event. You can check them out here and here. Thanks to Snitck Seeker for the tip!

Thewlis talks about Dumbledore
Thewlis talks about Dumbledore David Thewlis, the actor who plays Professor Lupin in the Harry Potter series recently did an interview while promoting his new book, "The Late Hector Kipling" in Toronto for the International Festival of Authors. One of the questions he answered was in response to the recent news concerning Dumbledore's character, saying he initially believed Lupin to be gay:

"The funny thing when Alfonso Cuaron directed 'The Prisoner of Azkaban,' the first film that I appear in, he had the idea that Lupin was gay and he described my character like a 'gay junkie.' And of course Lupin turns out not to be gay because he marries Tonks and has children."

Thanks to Tonya and Susie for sending this in!
