New Evanna and Emma interviews
Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) has done a new interview with the NY Post where she discusses landing the coveted role, some of her theories on the books, and more.As a fan, are you a shipper? Who do you like?Also, Emma Watson did an interview with The Sydney Morning Herald where she talks about kissing Ron in the sixth film:
I ship all the normal ones - Ginny/Harry, Ron/Hermione, blah blah blah. But I do have a strange one, which is Luna/Dumbledore. I think they would be quite perfect. They're both so detached, so otherworldly and so comfortable with themselves and they have this uncommon fearlessness of death. They also both have quirky hobbies and deep minds and I can see them getting along a storm. I don't see this ship sailing, of course. It's just one which I think could have had potential, aided along by a time-turner.
"Kissing Rupert's going to be sooo awkward," Watson says, screwing up her cute rosy-cheeked face. "I'm trying not to think about it...it's all part of the job I guess. Don't tell him I said that. Rupert's lovely. Girls would probably give their left arm to be in my position, so I'm certainly not complaining."

I don't recall Ron and Hermione kissing in Half-Blood Prince. Typo? Well anyway, Rupert Grint is one lucky guy. Interesting take on Luna and Dumbledore. I think they share a sort of outlandishness, but Dumbledore seems far wiser.

You know, I really like the idea of Dumbledore/Luna. I think Evanna's right, they would be good together. It's interesting, I'd never considered that before, but their personalities really are well suited. Nice one, Evanna. You just gave me a new ship! :)

I am a huge R/Hr shipper.. so I can safely say Ron and Hermione have not kissed yet. Ron and Lavendar got their mack on sure... But the only kiss Ron and Hermione ever shared was when Hermione kissed Ron for good luck in Ootp. Which the movie left out. Wow. I don't know how to react.
Ron and Hermione didnt kiss! (or did i accidentally skip that part)! Luna and Dumbledore would be a good couple, but as Evanna says, "with the aid of a time-turner". I cant wait for ron and Hermione to get together in the 7th book!
Luna/Dumbledore is resaly funny, i think with a time-turner that would def be possible..lol=) emma must have meant to say in the 7th film, unless the stupid movie is changing it all and we know they love to do that so id say ron and hermione will be kissing in the 6th movie=( ..... 8 days to the movie people, 8 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These articles are great. They're hilarious. Two odd couples. Luna and Dumbledore are quite odd, but Dumbledore still relies on proof. I admit that I was quite a Neville/Luna shipper until JKR said it would never happen. As for Emma and Rupert, apparently they think of each other as siblings...plus there's the age difference (not that its that big). Oh well. They only have to do it in front of a camera about..i don't know..20+ TIMES!
Luna and Dumbledore. Thats something I haven't heard of. Emma just seems so natural. Not everyone goes to Paris every year though. JEALOUS. Obviously Emma assumes she will have to make-out with Rupert but the book is written mainly from Harry's point of view except the first chapters so unless Harry sees them making out it probably won't be in it. It's just a thought....
Hermione and Ron DON'T kiss in HBP!!!! It would be funny if they don't go out in DH and the movie script would have to be re-written...

Oh dear. I´m sure Evanna´s comment will launch a lot of fanfics (and now I´ve got baaad images in my head). The timeturner plotline is sooo overdone, though. And poor Emma. Even poorer H/Hr shippers who only ever saw the movies. Honestly, who wants to see movie!Hermione and movie!Ron get together?

If you read the artical it also says "Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince, which starts filming in September. Director David Yates describes it as being about sex, drugs and rock'n'roll. " Uhhhh....

Hi Phoebe, a shipper is someone who supports the theory of a certain couple (Filch/Madam Pince, Hagrid/Olympe, Ron/Hermione, Luna/Neville, Luna/Dumbledore...you get the idea ;) ) getting and/or staying together (which is a ship). Hope that helped :)

i re-read the interview and it says that yates describes the 6th film as sex,drugs and rock n' roll when emma said that she was kissing ron in that film. and she couldn't have been talking about movie 7/book 7. she hasn't even read it. she is gonna wait like everyone else. so she couldn't know about her kissing rupert though we kinda know that they are going to be together.

I didn't like Luna in the books...I felt af course sorry for her about being lonely and an orphan..but I don't know why she didn't draw my attention at all....BUT NOW I am sure I'm gonna love her!!!That Evanna Lynch girl she's so great...I just hope her performance is as good as they say.. Hope she's gonna make me love her character...Can't Wait!!! PS..Do you really think it's gonna be even better than the previous ones?Hurray!!!
great interviews. :) i think both Emma and Evanna are really nice. as for Ron and Hermione kissing in book six, that never happened because i would have remembered that. maybe it will be in the movie though....
I hope Emma does not get hate coments because she said Rupert is not her type, poor girl kissing a guy he has no feelings for! well she gets pay for it!
just read Evanna interview!! she's so cute!!! And I don't blame her for carrying that letter around everywhere! can you believe it? that could've been any one of us! lol Evanna IS "Perfect!!"
