i must say i immensely enjoyed that. the world she has created is unbelievable, words alone cannot describe it. 7 books and 17 years; remarkable. she has changed my life of hating books and anything with some higher form of intellect. her modesty and generousity is just magnificant and i'm running out of words to just describe how amazing this woman is. thank you Jo, i don't know what i'll do when i finish the last book knowing there's no more fresh new harry potter pages to read, to theorize about in the future, it'll be so hard.

Posted by janegallagher Jul 6th 2007

yeah, the first apology was deleted because you listed the titles again. even if they're fake, your credibility is kind of shot after making a bunch of fans think they were being spoiled. the apology is appreciated though. also- CAN SOMEONE DELETE THAT (obviously fake) SPOILER POSTED BY Thephoenixlament12?

Posted by hpwiz812 Jul 6th 2007

OMG! that was HILARIOUS! his made up spells are so funny! and yet sometimes i do wish they found magazines under harry's bed...that would just be awsome!!! JK ROCKS!!

Posted by Thephoenixlament12 Jul 6th 2007

It's not fake. You'll see! =]

Posted by Spickles Jul 6th 2007

no! please, no spoilers!!! i love mugglenet and HP and i can't take anymore spoilers! i loved the interviews, but usually for posts, i wait a bit until the comments have died down to read so that the spoilers have been taken off, but i was too excited for this one, please, nothing to set our minds or spoil our own creative theories before the book is released, please!!

By the way, I'm not trying to spam but if you wanna see the entire spoof thing (Harry Potter and the Secret Chamber Pot of Azerbaijan) you can search for it on Youtube or download it here: http://britbitsandclips.c om/AR_HP.htm (watch for spaces in the link...)

Posted by janegallagher Jul 6th 2007

thepheonixlament12- of course it's fake, and your a jerk. also, you're about to get banned. really, if you're that desperate for attention, i would recommend stripping or going on american idol, because this- this is just pathetic.

Posted by Felipe Jul 6th 2007

Posted by xxwaddellxx Jul 6th 2007

I enjoyed the spells

Posted by trueShipper Jul 6th 2007

thephoenixlament I suppose if what you are saying is true (that Bellatrix kills ron) then I'm assuming you will also say Dumbledore is not dead, Harry and Hermione get together, Sirius walks right out of the veil unscathed, Fudge is reinstated as minister and Percy becomes the next dark lord! Anyone can make ridiculous assumptions but that doesn't make them true. JKR wouldn't kill Ron...she already said so "as if I'd kill the hero's best friend!"

Interview was fantastic, and I can't wait like everyone else to get the copy of book seven in my hands. I must say though, Jo may have let down her guard just a tad: she said that she'll never say never to ever writing from the world of harry potter. This probably supports theories of not everyone's story lines being completely cleaned up at the end. but could this also mean that IF, BIG IF HERE, she could possibly have a little bit more to say, couldn't that mean that even after all of us are done with book 7, that maybe, just maybe we might get another book? What I am hoping more that anything else is that she will release a comprehensive encyclopedia of the world. This would give hours and days of new theories and other things to contemplate in the years to come. More importantly, once i've finished book 7, it will mark the end of my childhood. I started reading the series when I was 11, and now at 18, once I put that book down, it will be over. If Jo could only know what this means for me and so many other people, the end is near. =[

I'm really impressed with Jonathan Ross. He is so talented and funny. He certainly put JK at ease and got her over the emotional parts. ---not a bloodbath, she was kidding and corrected herself--but there are deaths. I just wish we knew which chapter number so we could pause and catch a breath...brace ourselves. I've got my tissue handy--before the stores sell-out.

Posted by keri_potter Jul 6th 2007

wait the last thing they talked about was the theme park does that mean shes going to be there when it opens? i so hope so i will DEFFINATLY go then i already planned on going anyways but if she goes im bringing a book with me to have autographed, if any of the cast goes im bringing something with me to have them autograph.

Posted by fawkes6jgm Jul 6th 2007

fantastic interview, jo is just so fantastic and is soooooooooooo humble about it as well. its hard to believe that shes a billianaire. but im soooo excited for the 21 i cant wait. and after hearing that she had killed two characters she orignially planned on keeping alive, i forgot that more people can die. I DONT THINK I CAN BEAR MORE THAN 2 DEATHS!!! its frightening isnt it?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Posted by soexcited7 Jul 6th 2007

mzpeaches ~ I feel the same! Im 19 now and a lot of people make fun of me for being so obsessed with the series... but really thats my childhood. when this book is done itll be pretty hard to take. haha i sound so corny:) anyways jo is so amazing. shes gorgeous and so smart and articulate. shes absolutely wonderful!

Posted by xdumbledoresarmyx Jul 6th 2007

great interview! jo is absolutely BRILLIANT.... ahhh i wonder what the last word of the book is now that it's not scar?? i can't believe we're 2 weeks away from knowing!!!!! oh boy am i gonna sob.... i just know it...!

Posted by rob15 Jul 6th 2007

i hope the last word is cheesecake but i doubt it...its probably "time"

Posted by Travis Jul 6th 2007

My new favorite out-of-context quote ever: Jon Ross: "...Harry finds a hooker?" Jo Rowling: "Harry finds a hooker."

Posted by sondra Jul 6th 2007

THANKS MUGGLENET For the interview it was fantastic !!! It's Christmas in july for me. I'm so excited but worried about Harry now.

Posted by hpgirl_91 Jul 6th 2007

JKR looks amazing in this interview! aww i love jo. I am crying right now!! I DON'T WANT OUR FANDOM TO END!! *sobbing* Please promise me you guys that we will all still visit mugglenet and continue to write editorials, fanfiction, posts, etc. Our Potter Community must stick together!

Posted by hpfan007 Jul 6th 2007

'Harry's story comes to a clear closure' Does that mean he dies? Or maybe that she just explains his future in the epilogue... Meh this is confusing! Haha I love Jonathan Ross, he's hilarious! I have to say though, I didn't really find the Comic Relief spoof all that funny... maybe I'm just a way too defensive fan... lol

Posted by rob15 Jul 6th 2007

HPGIRL_91: i promise to keep posting and stick to the pie

Posted by yellieisarobot Jul 6th 2007

Normally I hate watching Ross, but I did tonight and I'm SO glad. :'D I really love Jo after watching this interview, she seems so sweet. (also, I LOL'd when I saw Paul Weller asking Jo to sign a copy of PS in the green room. xD)

Posted by ellenfreak3 Jul 6th 2007

What a classy lady. I just love her. And she doesn't have that rich snobbish attitude to her either. She just seems sooooo normal. I love it.

Posted by bringmethehorizon Jul 6th 2007

OMG... that better not be an actual spoiler. I was actually trying to aviod them you piece of shhh!

Posted by rob15 Jul 6th 2007

don't like that show very much...actually i've never seen it...butt i don't like the name of it

Posted by furtivelook Jul 6th 2007

Watch out for Spoilers. The books are arriving at the stores. It only takes one disgruntle employee.2 weeks left. Be strong and to be safe stay away from chatrooms, online forums and other postings:(...

Posted by rob15 Jul 6th 2007

FURTIVELOOK: nice name it sounds very....sneaky and yes we should watch out for spoilers...dirtburglars.. .and aggies.

Posted by Fenrir21 Jul 6th 2007

Wow, you guys! I just read how Hermione impales Rita Skeeter with her own acid green quill! Oh, and JK was right about the "bloodbath" part as is evident when the centaurs rip Umbridge limb from limb for daring to call them "filthy half-breeds" AGAIN!! (I guess she didn't learn her lesson the first time.) And then there's the part where... it's sad that some of you will believe what you just read. P.S. I think some of you just need to calm down. The security on this book is probably about the highest of any book ever published. Just don't believe any of the so-called spoilers, and you'll be alright. July 21 will be here before we know it, and we'll all know for ourselves what happens for real.

Posted by rob15 Jul 6th 2007

didn't understand a-one-word FENRIR21 said but alas i agree with him/her/heshe/it/werewolf

Posted by bringmethehorizon Jul 6th 2007

It was so hard to understand the very begining of the interview. After that it was funny. :]

Posted by Boojum Jul 7th 2007

Such a good interview and so revealing. Thank you for posting it. Of course I have to make some theory about things based on the interview. It seems you can tell that the protagonist of this fair series dies in the end by the way she answered the question whether she would write about Harry again. She says that Harry's story is complete and that she won't count out writing about that world again.... she didn't say that she wouldn't count out writing about Harry again..... (likely because he won't be around). Did you notice how her countenance drops when she is talking about it. In a round about way she reveals too much. It is going to be interesting to see how it happens and it will be far sadder than the Lightning Struck Tower my friends. I hope I am wrong of course.

Posted by riddleisourking Jul 7th 2007

Jo is a MILF! Very sexy... I like!

Posted by Clean0002 Jul 7th 2007

I know that spoiler that person put on here probably isn't true but I thought it would at least be somewhat safe here on Mugglenet to avoid that stuff but I guess I was wrong which makes me sad. I don't want DH spoiled for me at all and I think it is wrong that people are even putting up fake spoilers. I think it is very rude and uncalled for. I guess this means I will not be coming back on here after tonight. See you guys after the book.

Posted by rob15 Jul 7th 2007

RIDDLEISSOURKING: don't you mean "AILF"? and i don't think i'm that into woman over 40 years old. That's like me saying my mom is "very sexy"....weird

Posted by IsabelletheTerrible Jul 7th 2007

That lady absolutely ROCKS!!! All the best to her--she deserves it!

Posted by mzpeaches Jul 7th 2007

soexcited7, I know my friends don't get me at all, i'm the only one who is going to be sad about this. Glad to see someone else will feel our pain ::sob::

Posted by SevenAndMoreToGo Jul 7th 2007

JKR is looking beautiful

Posted by Clash Jul 7th 2007

hahaha, I loved the scar part, that made me laugh.. "so when you say scar you mean *points at forehead* right, not the.. "a message to you rudie!" hahhaha, that was funny.

Posted by fudgecrackers34 Jul 7th 2007

Does anyone think that the last word is 'not'? "Scar? It was so for ages, and now it's not. Scar is quite near the end, but it's not the last word." OR "Scar? It was so for ages, and now it's 'not'. Scar is quite near the end, but it's not the last word." Note how the meaning of the first sentence changes depending on how you read the last word...but I can't seem to think of a sentence that ends in 'not' off the top of my head.

Posted by Nizmat Jul 7th 2007

Rob15, theres nothing wrong with older ladies, we know stuff that would make your hair curl, and save you from your obvious pie fetish!! I watched the interview last night and spent the whole time wondering what the younger Mugglenetters and particularly those "across the pond" would make of the British humour (and language!!!). Oh and fudgecrackers34, how about "I'm going to have my scar removed...not!!"

Posted by Nizmat Jul 7th 2007

or even "Ron and Hermione tie the knot!"

Posted by RyAn2006 Jul 7th 2007

fudgecrackers34--OMG I was going to say that!! The way she emphasied the "Not" made me think it was...but what sort of sentence would really work with "not" at the end.. Fantastic interview-Ross surprised me a lot-i thought it would be a crap interview but he really calmed her down as im sure she was nervous, bless her!! OH AND THIS CHAPTER NEAR THE END WHERE SHE HOWLED...dear me....it has to be one of the trio...or even sextet...."a clear end" well i know what that sounds like...ohh i would killl for a book on James Potter!! It would be super!!

Posted by Belsito Jul 7th 2007

Jo's such a wonderful woman! And how lovely to hear somebody who has actually read the books talk about them and banter light-heartedly about them with the author herself! A most entertaining interview - witty, hilarious and informative at the same time. Much as I've always been sure that Jo would never kill off Harry, I'm beginning to think that the lady's capable of anything!

Posted by Ruby_321 Jul 7th 2007

I watched it last night and couldnt believe how humble Jo still is! The chapter near the end where she cried is gtn me worried! I'll no doubt howl as well! lol! The worst word to end it wud b dream, how crap would that be! a fortnight today we'll have the book! :)

Posted by XxbronaxX Jul 7th 2007

want to hear something scary?? If they had used 7/7/07 as the realease date none of us would bw on mugglenet......we would all have our heads stuck deep inside harry potter and the deathly hallows...........too bad we have another 13 days to wait.......grrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrr

Posted by mrssiriusblack Jul 7th 2007
