I find it interesting that they did the wand imprints. While certianly Harry Potter is what they are most known for now and what brought them to the fame they have, they have all expressed that this is not what they want to be known for, especially Dan. It seems that having the wand imprints forever immortilizes them as Harry, Ron, and Hermione. I don't know... just my two cents.

I agree about the wand imprints... But I think they'd always be known as the trio whatever they do. The photographers' yells would certainly have gotten on my nerves, but I guess they're used to it. Everyone wants a good picture. Even as they were receiving this honor (which is, as Emma said, the biggest in their lives so far), they seemed like such normal people, didn't they? Just some kids sticking their hands in concrete. (:

They deserve the honor...all three of them are fantastic actors. HPANA also has a video of this, sort of from a different angle and it's about 15 minutes long. I saw that one before this one. Go check it out!

They all definetely deserved it. Although I do think it's interesting that they did wand imprints, when they all clearly don't want to be simply remembered as "Harry, Ron and Hermione", and that they want to be able to branch out from Harry Potter. But I guess that this was their first big thing, and they obviously had to get concent from Dan, Emma and Rupert to do this, so they obviously agreed to it.

I understand where some of you are coming from with the wand thing, because it's natural that they don't want to be known for ONLY this one franchise. BUT that doesn't mean that it's not a remarkable accomplishment, and wherever they go and whatever they do in their careers can be hugely attributed to Harry Potter. Which is why having the wands there holds a lot of meaning. It's not going to mean that's all their known for, but it'll show years from now how greatly Harry Potter helped their careers. A fine achievement, indeed. Congratulations to all three of them. Well deserved.

WHOOOHO...well, honestly, I´m getting more and more nervous every second!!! there´re only THREE HOURS and ELEVEN MINUTES left ( I´m living in Germany!)! this is absolutely the greatest summer I EVER had (actually, as long as i´m not thinking about the bad weather!) Well what i wanted to say: CONGRATULATIONS to them! its a very great honor and they can be very proud of it! I think the wands are GREAT, because, they´ll always remember why they deserved it so much!!!!
