After reading the book, which I thought was the best of the series, I started thinking about how awesome this movie SHOULD BE. The movies are never as good as the book though so I have just started to reread DH again to see in my mind what parts of the book will be taken out. Even though I haven't finished my second rea dthrough I believe the whole part, which kinda reminds me of the holocaust, with all the muggle-borns being rounded up and supposebly given fair trials is not gonna happen in the movie.

yay!! I heard this rumor earlier, and I really hope she writes the book! I NEED to know what happened to Luna and George, and what Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Ginny's jobs were.... yayayayayayyy!!!

Oh, well. I really wish that Mr. Weasley hadn't gotten the reprieve. I would it rather have been him than the 'other father that died'. It seems so unfair to me. I am glad that Jo is writing more about Hogwarts, though. It gives us something to look forward to. I miss the characters that did die! I wish that Harry's godchild was never left an orphan!

Does any one else agree with me that harry SHOULD have named his kids Lily, James and Sirius?? Okay, I know the Dumbledore and Snape are good people too, but doesn't it make more sense to name them after your dad, mum and godfather? The people he misses most, instead of Albus Severus. (no offensae JK but that is kind off a weird name)

I thought that the Albus Severus name was sooo sweet. I am so glad JKR did that! However, I think I would have rather had Arthur die that Snape, Tonks, or Lupin. I mean, Snape was the best and Lupin and Tonks just had a kid. Also, why kill one twin? Why not both? Can you imagine how George is feeling now?

the books are good, i know many people want more, but i think that we should just individually fill in the blanks with our own minds. i know that many people (including me) would like to see another book but dont you think that she needs a break so she can spend all her millions in style? and im so crushed that Tonks, Lupin, Fred, and Snape died.... :(

I think the best part in the entire book was when snape got killed and he grabbed for harry and hes like ' Look... at... me," and then died. Like that is one of the few parts i've cried in, like seriously that was dangerously heartbreaking.

you know what... id rather arthur would have been killed off someplace rather than have her kill off snape or lupin.. WHYY couldnt she have saved them instead... so much better..

obsessedpottergirl---i agree with you word for word! That was the thing that really got to me, was the fact that harry had no chance to thank or aknowledge what snape did for him face to face and Snape died knowing harry hated him....tragic

Now we've seen Snape and Lily's story, I wonder what is it like for Lily and James. I've re-read book 1 and parts of it mentioned that James (and Lily) are great people. I hope JK will write more on this in the encylopedia. =)

the hp encyclopedia is exactly what i needed to hear about during my just starting post-hp depression. +=) And i am soooo glad that Jo didnt kill of Mr. Weasley, i mean who doesnt love him? i couldnt bear to see another beloved charater of mine die.

Was anyone else terribly sad and crying for hours when Sirius didn't come back to life!!!!!!??????? I mean come on!!!! She didn't hit him with Avada Kedavra, it was RED LIGHT!!!!!! grrrrrrrrrr!!!!! didn't anyone feel that the final book was a little tedious with everything about the hallows and the horcruxes? and did anybody think that it was weird that harry, ron and not even hermione tried to do spells inside of their heads. and did any body think that the final part between harry and voldemort was kind of weird and extremely comfusing? and the part with the gray lady was a bit odd to me. if voldemort took the sword and griffindor like it says on page 618 why wasn't it a horcrux. why hadn't we heard of the gray lady in the other books. and if voldemort cared enough about snape to be willing to spare lily's life then why was he so quick to kill him and not look back? don't get me wrong this was a good book but i don't think it was the best in the series. for me that would be the half blood prince.

Aww, good for Mr. Weasley. I was always afraid that he was going to die, so I was slightly surprised when I finished the book and he was still alive - surprised, but ecstatic, because I really loved his character. I CANNOT wait for the encyclopedia!!

Awesome! I really hope she does that because that would be awesome! I'm glad Author didn't die, but I'm still really upset about Fred. If I had to choose between those two, then (sorry) but Author...I love Fred too much (R.I.P. Fred!!!)

I thought for sure george got the reprieve after I read the book. I initally though Fred and George were the two she decided to kill instead of the reprieved person before I read the book.

hmm.. I saw on an interview with J.K. Rowling and a little girl asked if she'll ever stop writing and J.K said no. However, J.K. said that she's done with the magical world. I don't think I'll read another book by Rowling unless it's Harry Potter. But, I would like a whole book dedicated to Snape and Lily!

Jk has tons of information to keep writing for a lifetime about Harry and his adventures. How the characters lives intertwine with each other. She could write several more books about each characters life. She opened up endless story lines. She could write about the other wizarding schools, How James, Sirus & Peter became animargis, was it ever a possiblity for Harry, Ron & Hermoine to follow in there footsteps? Where did the dementors go in the end of DH? Whose got control of them? How does George go on with life? Does Olivander continue selling wands? Does Harry come across another parsiltongue in his travels? Do the house elves finally accept freedom willingly? Is Hagrid still goundskeeper at Hogwarts? Who is employeed at the Ministry of Magic? There in itself are more storylines. Jo will always have loose ends to tie up with the Harry Potter series. Harry Potter mania will NEVER end. She will always have fans that want more. Jo could have written 1000 page book & producers could make a 4 hour movie and it STILL would not be enough for fans. I know I would be one of those fans as well. I am sad to see the series end. I will always be a fan.
