This is good news! I REALLY want to know what happened to the Weasley's, especially George, after Fred died. The twins were my favorites. I'm still crying over Fred...I wish it was Percy instead - the irony of him coming back to his family and dying fighting would have been great.

Omg yay for the encyclopedia! I really thought she would say Hagrid. I can't believe she would have killed Mr. Weasley. I'm so glad she didn't! I still really want to know which 2 were the ones she killed instead.

THANK GOD Mr Weasley didn't die. That would've been too much, Fred AND him. And, YES!! THERE'S GOING TO BE AN ENCYCLOPEDIA! WOOOOOO!! I just can't wait, not only will we learn and understand so much more, but this provides a sort of stepping stone out of the world of Harry Potter rather than a sudden stop after Deathly Hallows. And NOW all those people unhappy with the epilogue will be satisfied. Yay for closure!

Thank God, that epilogue left so much to be desired!!!!!!! This makes dealing with DH so much easier!!!! Oh, an no offense to Arthur Weasley fans, but I would have much preferred him dying to Lupin, Tonks, or Fred. Seriously!!!!!!!!!!!!

Personally, I think it was awful that she killed Lupin and Tonks, and right after they had their baby! I was actually expecting Arthur to die. I was very sad about Fred, Hedwig, and (yes, I am weird) Bellatrix. *cries hysterically*

its great that shes going to write an encyclopedia! i desperately want to know more about the lives of the important characters in Dumbledores Army!

In a way, I feel bad for J.K., she won't rest properly because everyone will be pushing her for that encyclopedia! But, I'm glad because it's not over! As far as Arthur getting a reprieve, well, I thought Fred was too young to die, I think I would have handled Arthur Weasley's death better than Fred's but, that's only MY opinion . But, in battles and situations like those in the book, it's difficult to know what will happen. Thanks again, J.K. for letting us into your world!

I can't contain my joy over the Encyclopedia news. I really can't. And Bloodtraitor...I hear ya. I was sad even for Bellatrix too. :*( I found it almost too cruel to kill Fred & Lupin/Tonks. Right after becoming parents....and Fred, he was ALWAYS with George...now George has lost his partner in crime!! ;___;

Oh thank the Lord... I am so glad that Jo is writing an encyclopedia. More information, more HP, and something else to look forward to! The epilogue was way too vague, I'm so glad to get some extra information! And I'm so glad that Arthur didn't die - the Weasley's probably couldn't take much else...

I think that she will include info on Harry teaching a bit at Hogwarts and what Ron, Luna and Hermione do. I hope that she gives more backstory on many of the characters. Vivid character descriptions. Don't get me wrong, but don't you think, no matter how much information we obtain from that encyclopedia, we are still going to want MORE? There are always going to be holes and plot lines that we want more of. More stories about the mundane and the exciting in the world of wizardry. JKR has created a world unlike any other. A world that we immerse ourselves in wholeheartedly. I don't know if I will ever get enough of Harry Potter. And, though it seems unlikely, I WOULD like to know about their kids and how they fare at Hogwarts. Now, how can I convince my husband to let me name our next child Severus???? I knew he was good! *does hapy dance*whoop whoop*

Instead of writing yet another book, which is going to cost money, she could just - I don't know - tell us the fates of the surviving characters of DH!

i cant wait for the encyclopedia. i wish too that she gave a bit more info in the interview though, i kind of wanted to know what the other 2 titles for the book were going to be and who were the 2 people she didnt plan on killing but ended up doing so? though i think that may have been lupin and tonks. but im glad the mr. weasley got the reprieve cause if it lupin was planned to die i couldnt take it if mr. weasley had died too. after fred died i almost stopped reading. i almost couldnt handle it then cause hedwig and dobby had passed and they were innocent characters.

I'm so excited right now!! Its finally confirmed...an encyclopedia! Hopefully it will span through Lily, Albus, James, Hugo, and Rosie's schooling! Mr Weasley got the reprieve he should have died watching the prophecy. I found it so sad when JK said in the interview she ended up killing another father in book 7. RIP Remus Lupin =( hopefully JK will include how Teddy lived without his parents and I hope he knows how great they were.

i KNEW it, she is going to write more, and i knew it would've been to much to put it in the book....so now i can stop sulking!!!!! and so can others, now you may, whoever hated the book, love it now, because now you get how hard it would be to put everything in!!!! i am soooo happy i have more of the wizarding world to come!!!!!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! My post potter depression just improved quite a bit! An encyclopedia.... I'm in heavan! Wonderful news! Assuming she goes through with it, but I honestly don't think at this point she couln't not do it. It would be horribly evil to give us so much hope and then just take it away.
