Where is the entry form?????? Gah. Well, I'll find it eventually...*clicks around randomly* And all of you negative people on here? (np374 I'm talking to you--that's a horrible thing to say). If you don't enjoy Harry Potter, just GO. Just leave us alone so we can all squee and laugh about the 7th book together without being pestered by the likes of you.

The entry form won't be on the site until Monday. Way to be ahead of the game mugglenet!

Posted by Snape_is_Innocent Jul 27th 2007

Looks like were ahead of the news. The forms not listed until next week. I 'm just going to fill out my info on a piece of paper and send it in then. Crossing my fingers. I'm from Minnesota and we were up in New York City for a mini vacation when the Harry Potter series came out. So I went to the big bash at the 5 story Barnes and Noble out there. Lines were out the door, around the corner and the block! Talk about CRAZY!!!!

Posted by ennaxor Jul 27th 2007

Though I would absolutely love to go, I'm not even sure I'm going to enter. I live in CA (which is pretty far from NY as it is), but come September I'll be in London for the school year; I seriously doubt I'd be able to come back to the US for this. I hope Rowling ends up doing some tour in the UK while I'm there.

Posted by Snape_is_Innocent Jul 27th 2007

I would love to go to London ennaxor! You are so LUCKY!!!! What are you going to be doing in London?

Posted by I_solemnly_swear Jul 27th 2007

Do we get free transportation to New York if we win? My parents would never drive to New York (from Florida) for that. Oh well.

Posted by Snape_is_Innocent Jul 27th 2007

I doubt its an all expense paid trip. Though I would be all 4 that. I think this sweepstakes will only get U in the door of Carnegie Hall.

Posted by GABZx3 Jul 27th 2007

Posted by Lady_of_the_Dark_March Jul 27th 2007

OMG!!!!!!! I can't wait for July 30th. And in the three days before that, I have to somehow think of a way to enter without his knowing, and then think of an explanation for if I win. I SOOOOOOOOOOO hope I win and then am allowed to go!!!

Posted by violiola Jul 27th 2007

Posted by Dobby4ever Jul 27th 2007

Once again I miss it, because I live in Denmark :/ It sounds really, really cool though, and I'd love to come! and to np347, get out of the site, instead of telling us to put a gun to our head! I don't get it, why do people go to websites, make an account and write a comment, just to write that?

Posted by fell4snape Jul 27th 2007

1,000 winners huh? Well that's better odds than usual, guess I'll enter....if I remember on the 30th...

I just finished re-reading DH and I no longer consider it my favorite in the series. There wasn't any real shocking twist besides the master of the elder wand being Harry. I think after 4 the series stopped feeling like a fantasy and became kind of a drama. I like 1-4 more than 5-7 (5 being my least favorite). 7 was a great book, but I feel like the glass is half empty in many ways. 1-4 give you such a rich feeling when you read them, whereas; 5-7 lose the blue print of 1-4 having a huge twist regarding the villian. I knew Snape was good all along and I knew it concerned Lilly Potter. I knew "that awful boy" was Snape and not James. I knew Harry was a Horcrux and he and LV had no idea about it. Maybe I'm too intelligent a fan for my own good but I think most of us knew this supposed unexpected info. I knew Harry wasn't dead for sure when he died. I hate when I am right because I don't feel that awesome crap I didn't see that coming feeling. Despite this I believe 7 ended the series as it began 10 years ago, with a bang. I just thought JKR was capable of more. I hate how Harry, Ron and Hermione always happen to avoid a spell or a death eater. It seems like they have felix felices in their veins. I didn't want them to die but it just gets boring hereing and Ron dodges a green blast for the 25th time. JKR is a genious for coming up with HP but perhaps she became too stubborn fulfilling her vision (like George Lucas) and lost track of the fans desires to have the questions from 1-6 answered completly and satisfyingly.

Posted by xDeathlyxHallows Jul 27th 2007

...I got Deathly Hallows around 11 this morning. I finished it about quarter to 7 p.m. I've always thought something was wrong about my feelings for Snape; and now it's been proven. I'm in love with Severus Tobias Snape. No. I'm not kidding. if I ever have a son, I'm naming him Severus Tobias. I am so in love with Snape it's scary. Some one needs to track down Rowling and tell her to conjure him up for me. Plus, I'm going to steal her wand. I don't care if someone from the Ministry of Magic comes after me. Dude, no. you don't even get it. I'm in love.
