That was the best movie I have ever seen in my life! Ok so now 2 things... 1) Rupert Grint is soooo cute! Who agrees? 2) Anyone know what that Blu Ray thing is for movies!?!?!? Thanks yall HP fans!

Posted by tacc1993 Aug 4th 2007

It's because we had to see it more than once to decide if we liked it or not. After 3 times, I'm still not liking it very much.

Posted by wildnose94 Aug 4th 2007

i wish that i lived in the U.K. so i could be in the movies!

Posted by zomboy06 Aug 4th 2007

It will probably end up grossing between what COS and GOF grossed (that would put it at $280 million approximately) but I would love it if it made even more and managed to beat GOF. Beating SS is a bit of a stretch but I think it deserves too as it is one of the best films of the series so far!

Posted by LaurenB Aug 4th 2007

It feels so great that I've contributed to that.

Posted by Witchy_Woman Aug 4th 2007

Posted by peppermint_toad Aug 4th 2007

LOVED this movie!! no surprise that it's making a lot, and if my incredible struggle to get tickets for the first showing are any indication (2 weeks early and i only got a seat in the last theatre!), this one will definitely pass cos and hopefully gof

I hope it beats at least CoS it would be a bit embarrasing if it didn't. Can't wait till HBP movie news!

Posted by Hufflepuffsrcool Aug 4th 2007

Hey everyone! Cool about the movie. So I found something that I thought was really neat that I want to share but no one around me reads HP (loooosers). So here goes: On page 696 of Goblet of Fire, when Harry is telling Dumbledore and Sirius what happened after Cedric died, he gets to the part about how Wormtail used Harry's blood in the potion that brought V back to his body. Then Rowling writes this: "For a fleeting instant, Harry thought he saw a gleam of something like triumph in Dumbledore's eyes. But next second, Harry was sure he had imagined it, for when Dumbledore had returned to his seat behind the desk, he looked as old and weary as Harry had ever seen him." Every time I read that I got so confused! Why would Dumbledore be so happy that V used Harry's blood? Now it all makes sense! When V used Harry's blood, it saved his life in DH. I love it when I catch little hints like that that Rowling slips into the books. Thought I'd share.

Posted by Natalie87 Aug 4th 2007

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER..I just had a conversation about DH.. Did the last scene in the great hall and everything seem a little childish to you? The fact that hp and voldy weren't alone..there was the whole school in thw hall and the battle took place in a room instead of an outside venue..Just want to know what you think please...thx!!!

Posted by Cnmynameinlites Aug 4th 2007

THAT'S AMAZING! Great job. It was an amazing movie.

Posted by Wishing_To_Be_A_Witch Aug 4th 2007

Anybody know when the movie is going ot come out on DVD???? I just got to have it as soon as it comes out.

Posted by seventhsoul Aug 4th 2007

yeah, i really loved the movie, it got FOUR STARS!!! although they cut out a lot of scenes, it was good as a movie in itself, even though it didn't quite reach everything needed to explain the story. . . overall, it was a really good job -- definitely far better than the previous movies. I'm glad David yates is doing HBP!

Posted by Sureves Aug 4th 2007

go hp! i think the movies started going a lil downhill after the 3rd one. it just didnt do the third book justice. the fourth - a lil better. the fifth - better the second time i saw it. i think Columbus did great on the first 2. and i really really really wish the old Dumbledore was still here...:(. but hey, i think they are doing the best they can with the movies...congrats hp and jk!

Hufflepuffsrcool.... I noticed that too... Shes just brilliant!! and that kicks total butt how she always does that...... Natalie87, I don't think it was childish at all... I mean what's the point of killing the badest wizard of them all if their's no one around to see him fall?... That was actually my favorite part in the book... I thought it was awsome
