'Order of the Phoenix' DVD trailer
A trailer for the upcoming release of the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix DVD has appeared online. Click here to watch it. The DVD will be released on December 11th in the US and November 12th in the UK.

I'm almost positive it's December. It wouldn't make sense to come out here before the UK. And, as marahlynn pointed out, DVDs almost always come out on Tuesdays. December 11 is a Tuesday. Also, if the release date had moved forward a month, that would have surely been a news item in and of itself, not just a casual afterthought in the video post.

Nothing special, really. But news is news. I really think they ought to show more appreciation for props/special effects type people; they're really under appreciated.

Yay. This is an early thought, but since HBP is allegedly has a release date of Nov 21, 2008, that means it should be out on DVD around Spring time of '09? :) Nice. *gets ahead of myself sometime*
That was a pretty cool trailer...i never really thought about how they actually did all the special effects...but i just realized...those artists have the coolest job, id love to be able to make a remote controlled mimblus mimbletonia or however u spell it!

Is it just me or all my bretheren at mugglenet have gone insane..37 comments already and not one person saying that the movie was far below expectations and as such disappointed a lot of us. I guess I have read hp one too many times.

Yay I can't wait for the DVD to come out I get it in november!! The trailer was kinda rubbish though, I think they will do a different one for Britsh TV's instead of that one.
