First Official Still from Half-Blood Prince
Warner Brothers has released the first official picture from Half-Blood Prince, depicting Harry entering a room while clutching the Marauder's Map and a potion book.As a reminder, our Half-Blood Prince movie section is filled with information concerning the latest filming and cast news.
Additionally, Warner Bros. has released the official description of the film:
"Fantasy Adventure. Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Together they work to find the key to unlock Voldemort’s defenses and, to this end, Dumbledore recruits his old friend and colleague, the well-connected and unsuspecting bon vivant Professor Horace Slughorn, whom he believes holds crucial information. Meanwhile, the students are under attack from a very different adversary as teenage hormones rage across the ramparts. Harry finds himself more and more drawn to Ginny, but so is Dean Thomas. And Lavender Brown has decided that Ron is the one for her, only she hadn’t counted on Romilda Vane’s chocolates! And then there’s Hermione, simpering with jealously but determined not to show her feelings. As romance blossoms, one student remains aloof. He is determined to make his mark, albeit a dark one. Love is in the air, but tragedy lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be the same again."

Oh My Gosh! They are really on top of things. i wasn't expecting a picture for another four months! This pic looks awesome. I was questionable about his hair in the behind the scenes clips but this looks good. I am so pumped for this movie! Ron and Hermione will actually have a fair amount of screne time! This is so Cool!.................... ..by the way............ 1st?

i'm glad to see they kept that hair style instead of going back to the one in forth movie that didn't suit him well at all.
that's awesome! i like the potions book, really true to the book.
His hair looks like the top of a mushroom. iDefinitely preferred the one he had in GoF. But iLike the ambience of the picture. iJust hope that having the same director doesn't mean the picture will be as ... smooth (for want of a better word) as OotP. iMean, a feature film, especially one based on such books, should have more ups and downs. You should leave the theatre being able to say "iReally liked the bit where - ". That didn't happen with OotP. So iAm keeping my fingers crossed.

iCan't wait for Half Blood Prince. Seriously. iMean, it's definitely the funnest out of the lot. iHope against hope that David Yates doesn't cut too many R/Hr or R/LB scenes. H/G ... iDon't care about much.
The Marauder's Map and I'm guessing Snape's potion book...? His hair isn't as messy as it should be, but at least it's longer than it was in movie 5. X) I wonder if Eric is going to start using the movie 6 stills for the Caption Contest.
Ahhh awesome picture! HBP is my favourite book of the series, and so I am really really hoping they do it justice. It's looking great so far, though!
It looks to me like Harry's entering the dorm; you can see one of the bedposts and the infamous draperies right along the edge of the picture. Only 343 days left! I can't wait!

WOW I wasn’t expecting a still so soon!!! I didn’t like Harry’s hair in the OOTP now it’s much better. I would prefer the POA or GOF hairstyle though. Can’t wait to see pictures of Ron and Hermione

SHEESH guys, whats all this about his hair??? I mean I think dan is hot like the next person, but really, who cares what his hiar looks like as long as he portrays Harry with justice???
