MuggleNet gets "pwned"
MuggleNet gets At approximately 7pm on January 2nd, a team of sexually frustrated men (hackers) penetrated MuggleNet's defenses, bravely fighting off Damon's armies of killer dragons and ninjas to breach our servers. The invaders were driven off, however, and the site has been restored.

We apologize for the interruption, and will now continue with our regular business of not messing in other people's business.

it's a little college up in Pennsylvania called Allegheny ... i really like it, but i don't know if i'll end up there; it's just really encouraging to know I can end up SOMEwhere, you know? -and they offered me a scholarship that can range from $3000 to $15000 a year!!!!! -------- but it's late here and I've got to go to bed. See you tomorrow!

Excellent Emerson. An omniscient genius you are. I only hope that no ninjas or dragons were harmed. ;-) Anyways, Grndl3lw4Ld, I have to agree with Emerson. I don't see how making fun of a group of people who take pleasure in making the lives of others a headache is the same as stereotyping a religion. Hacking is by no means a religion or ethnic group, so don't go around acting like it is one. Hacking is a form of vandalism, and I have absolute no sympathy for people who go around and wreak havoc. Not to mentiion deprive me of Mugglenet for a few days. Those few days were an abyss of misery, pain and woe whose very memory pains me. :-)

Hacking and organized religion actually have some key similarities, just like some religious people are morons and use it for harm, some are good and have good intentions. likewise, sure you can be an a$$ and use power for harm, you can also do good. Hacking isnt just ruining other people stuff, thats a pretty common misconception apparently though. And I never said it was one, I only said its no different, because its not, youre still insulting a group of people with stereotypes.

"Hackers are down there with aggressive telemarketers and fraud artists on the cockroach list. Seriously, why do you have to prove yourself to be the scum of the earth? Does anyone like you? Do you have any friends who aren't computer generated or that you don't have to pay $7.96/min to talk to you? Darn, I hope you get struck by lightning and it fries all your equipment, permanently." ------------------------- -- Getting a little worked up their man...calm down, before blatantly insulting something know what it is....

I am happy to see that MN is back up and running. I would have been extremely sad without the best website for Harry Potter news. I dont know what those hackers were thinking when they thought they could get by you guys. Great job!
