i watched this interview but unfortunately did not video it. The interview went well apart from from Richard and Judy getting mixed up between the HBP and the goblet of fire film which really annoyed me

well i get the station because i live in the UK and the thing that they were getting confused about was a certain characters death. they were saying that this character died in the last film but the film hasn't even been filmed yet

Neat-o. MN most likely would get the video, if not MN Leaky or someone else...Michael is witty and cool....I like him BUT I see Richard Harris in book 6, I can't shake his image as being the TRUE Dumbledore. Maybe it's because we seen Richard first, who knows but I like Michael as well :).

The interview was laughable - really no point in having it as Gambon only talked about playing Dumbledore for a very short while, with (the idiot) Richard claiming he saw the end of HPB in the last film. A lot of confusion on the interviewers' part, and really not much else given on filming for OotP.

I miss Richard Harris. He was awesome. I think he would have been incredible playing Dumbledore in HBP. Michael Gambon is great, just not the same. I was so sad when I found out he had died. I agree with everyone else too that Ian McKellen would make a wicked Dumbledore!

I love Michael Gambon as Dumbledore. He' dynamic. I can easily imagine him duelling with Voldemort-Ralph in Phoenix-movie. I want to see the interview. Hopefully someone has recorded it.

Richard & Judy just can't interview anyone normally! Richard's so cocky, he was like convinced that Dumbledore died in the last movie, which is insanity. Considering they're interviewing JKR on Monday they better get their Potter facts straight! And I still don't think it's right to keep saying that DD dies in HBP because there are some people out there who are only going to see the movies so that's just spoiled there and then for them.

I did record it but can't get it up on my comp. I agree that it was laughable, but thats why I watch it daily. Richard are Judy are so awful theyre extremely amusing. Why they were convinced that they saw him die I have no idea (maybe they have very visual imaginations and pictured it vividly when they read it). Basically they argued about that for a while, they talked about his acting methods (he doesn't research, he didn't go to acting school) they showed the clip of him on top gear (which is probably somewhere on the web), they talked about the Samuel Beckett play he's in at the moment, showed another clip of him in a tv show in 1977, (preceded by a long explaination from Richard) then talked about him being an engineer and finally about Laurence Olivier. It was a pile of crap. I know Richard and Judy's interview style extremely well...and I suggest that noone gets excited and expects any major revelations. I'm gonna guess that they ask a few badly researched questions (probably about when she was writing ps, richard will go off on a 5 min speech about how hard his life was before he made it into tv and link it in some obscure way with her life) they'll ask things that have been asked in every other interview ever (will more characters die? will you write more books? etc) That may be unfair though, maybe it will be a probing interview where they'll find out the name of the book, a release date, find out if harry lives and get a definitive answer about snape's affiliation. :)

There's no real reason to show it because there wasn't much given away on the shooting of the next film, and the talk about Dumbledore was basically clouded over by Richard going on about seeing something he didn't actually see.

can everyone stop going on about michael not being good as dumbledore and richard being better because unfortunately richard is dead and he's not coming back. hence the reason michaels doing it. it's not like richard was sacked and replaced by michael it's just simply the fact that they had to find someone else and i'm sure that richard would be thinking that michael is doing a great job playing dumbledore

i saw the interview it wasent all that. i dont realy like michael gambon yeah he plays a good Dumbledore but i think hes not realy doing it because he loves the books, i think they could have found someone to play Dumbledore who would be honered to play it like richard harris. i dont mean to be to mean but i dont realy dont think michael is worthy to play such a fantastic character as Dumbledore. but people who like him playing Dumbledoretry not to h8 me 2 much its just my opinion
