Umm I'm not sure if I think shes lucky. Yeah I would love to kiss him but it would still be awkward. If she said it was awkward, Rupert was nervous too. I'm not surprised in the slightest. I would have to be professional and put my Fan girlishness aside and if that other person is nervous and awkward then I will be too. Its not like its going to be a romantic kiss, you have 50-100 people watching you. You have to be professional.

haha i like how it says she 'beat 7000 other auditionees' erm... no... she didn't even audition because she, like many of us who wanted to audition, was classed as 'too old' (she is now 21). These auditions are such hype, they get young girls' hopes up and then just pick someone they probably had in mind all along! But if their past (recent) casting is anything to go by, i'm sure she'll be a good choice, i mean, Evanna Lynch is amazing so let's hope Jessie Cave is too!

A fan should have had this role. I refuse to believe that one of the 7,000 (I heard it was even more than that) didn't fit the bill. I guess if she acts well that's all that matters but why waste everyone's time if they weren't going to give them the job. You can be we'll find out that this Jessie Cave hasn't even read the books.

Interesting that no one has commented on the fact that the role of Lavender Brown has been played by a black girl in previous HP movies and casting took a 180 degree flip for HBP casting of Lavender Brown as a white girl--in light of more personal interactions with key role players. I guess with Dumbledore's outing, Warner Execs weren't interested in taking on any more controversial subplots in the story line.
