I am pretty sure it is not the bezoar scene. he is in muggle clothes. it is something in Hogwarts. the curtains probably give a clue. can't pinpoint it though.

He is looking into a school trunk standing on its end. Olden-times trunks had drawers and hangers in them. The drawer he is looking into is made of stitched leather. Maybe he is looking for the mirror that Sirius gave him??

That's what I thought-he is looking into a drawer in a trunk. You can see the initial "S" on the side, so I wonder what the rest of the printing says that we can't see. Maybe it's Sirius' old school trunk? I;m gonna go check the book....

Looks like a scene in which he is doing detention for Snape and having to go through the old files of James' and Sirius' wrong doings.

I think Harry might be somewhere in the library looking for information on Horcruxes, until he he, Hermione and Ron find out that their isn't any information about them anywhere in the library.

I agree with riddleisourking. The first thing that came to my mind when I saw it was a Snape detention scene.

look at the backdrop...there is a painting/mural on the wall!! Also there is an S on the box/drawer thing!!! Harry is looking for the necklace in the room with the family tree!!!!

I'm surprised, but maybe they're waiting until one of the other blockbuster movies this summer - Indiana Jones, perhaps, or the Dark Knight, or Wall-E. In fact, now that I think about it, probably Wall-E is about right, in terms of the theme and target audience of the film. (Warner Bros. seems to have this misguided theory that most Potter fans are pre-teens, but then, so does Scholastic.)

my vote goes for the snape detention scene... but i do agree that it looks like a trunk on it's end... i guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I would like to thank Mugglenet for its excellent detective work....that is most definitely the same outfit from the previous picture released.... I compared and then it made me snicker... lol. Love it! I think it's possible they include a scene at Grimmauld Place to introduce things they left out in OOTP but should be set up for movie #7...

Hey, i think its the part where he frantically is searching for a bezoar! The "S" on the drawer thingy is simple to decipher: "SLUGHORN" The curtains in the back would most definately NOT be found in Snape's dungeon. Oh, and the semi-circular round thing to Harry's left has to be one of Slughorn's comfy chairs. Savvy?

What ever that thing is it has an S on the side, could it be Slughorn's???

Could it be that this is a picture from Harry's trip through Dumbledore's memory to the orphanage where the young Tom Riddle first met the Headmaster? Tom hid certain items that he had stolen from others in a box in his wardrobe. It's possible that the film's writers have taken certain liberties with the script and shown the box within a drawer rather than a wardrobe. Just a thought.

I could be wrong.... but.... Yes, I think the case is Slughorn's. I am a prepress graphic designer and I have studied a great deal in "typography". This makes me 99% certain that the 'S' on the side of the case is upside down. It is too "top heavy". On this hunch, I rotated the picture and found that the S looks a lot more appropriate the other way up. This leads me to believe that this case/these cases actually sit upside down and that the S could indeed be for "HS". I tried a few things with the photo and if you blow it up a bit and play with a few settings, it does appear as though there's another (barely showing)letter on the other side of the wooden binding. I can't be certain it's an "H" but if it is the edge of a letter, it does appear to have a long flat edge.... possibly like an H. As I said, I could be wrong, but there's my two cents as a trained graphic artist :)

I like the_shrieking_snack's theory of it being when Ron almost dies... that'd be cool if they keep that scene in. I like a lot of theories you guys have put up, lol.

Well, I just cried for about five thousand hours. I am so CRUSHED, words cannot even explain how I feel. I want to grab someone and STRANGLE them until they choke. I have been counting down to this trailer ever since they announced it is 'credible' that it's linked to Prince Caspian. I'm so sad... :(

Harry's sweater in PoA had white stripes on the sides i believe. (I have no life so i would know this) Also, i think its funny that everyone voices their opinion that HBP will suck, but they can't wait for the trailer. Me included. Just though it was funny........lol, you know?

Well, the first thing that popped into my mind was that he was hiding the book in the R of R.... He's got the map and the Potions book (i think...) in his arm in the other picture.... But the drawer in the trunks is a good idea... after all, where else are they supposed to put their underwear? ... Bad joke- sorry. But yeah- the trunk idea makes sense.

i think its the detention scene. it's probably not the bezoar scene because slughorn now works in snape's dungeon, which wouldn't have that background, and snape is in the DADA room, which would look more like that. the 'S' if right side up could be 'Snape' and if upside down could be 'SS' (Severus Snape). also he doesn't look frantic enough for it to be the R of R scene

it might be when he's at grimmauld place in dh when he's looking through sirius or regulus's room. he looks to calm to be searching for the bezor for ron. he'd be frantically looking around for it...well...hopefully he would!!

I love all the theories! U guys are awesome! Personally, I think he doesnt looks stressed enough to be the bezoar scene (but i do hope they keep that part in there). Im trying to rattle my brain to figure it out though. It's gonna make me take the book out and read it again real quick. lol. I cant wait for the movie though. its gonna be great, i know it!!!!

Aw...this is disappointing...I'm definetly still going to see Narnia, but I'd hope it'd be out tmrw. Yup, I agree...these are some really good theories! But we'll just have to wait and see! =)
