Yes yes yes Lupin and Tonks DEFINTILEY deserved a death scene! It really sucked that they didn't get one. I know Harry couldn't be everywhere at once but still! Lupin is the epitamy of goodness, always thinking of others and feeling guilty for what he is. Tonks is lovely too, she's lovably clumsy and has a good heart and she doesn't care about Lupin being older than her or being a werewolf. Lupin was basically my favorite character and I didn't want him to die at all, but when Harry just saw his body lying on the floor like that I was like "no! how did he die?". And Lupin and Tonks were my favorite HP couple (forbidden love is so cute).

Micah, just go ahead and marry me. Who cares that I'm 15? :D

I just saw a couple interesting sneak peek clips into the making of the HBP. I think both the clips are kinda old but today was the first time I had watched them. So I was thinking maybe some of you lot may be interested and would want to watch them as well. A few of the things they show are part of H/G's almost kiss, a shot or two of Pro. D and he looks like Richard Harris with his long white beard! They show some rough shots of the orphange that tom riddle grew up in and it looks to me like it's going to be pretty cool. hey magicmaker222, thanks for the tip of the behind the scenes of hp6. just finished rereading it and i was wondering if they were putting in a quidditch match for this movie. i guess that clip answers the questions. i should go & listen to the mugglecast but school's finally out and I have some other stuff to do. maybe later..... ttfn

I loved this episode...it was soooo funny!!!!!!!! i'm still waiting for the HBP teaser trailer, so hopefully, it comes out with "Get Smart."

why is it called I Love You, Laura? I haven't listened yet, but i really want to know.

Did Remus and Tonks deserve a masterful, Homeric death scene? Yes. Something along the lines of Hector comes to mind. Was it good writing to leave it out? Yes. Also think about Colin Creevy? Think of the unknowns for people in combat. Outside of their combat unit, they have no knowledge of who lives, who's hurt or who dies. Yet another element of what makes combat so truly horrifying. Another reason why they call it the "fog of war". We didn't get to see their fate and that made the shock of it all the more terrifying. Harry was off in other parts of the Hogwarts during the bulk of the fighting and we didn't get to see much of the "heavy fighting". Think of what Kingsly went through? What about Ginny? Even though she was out of the first half, do you see her sitting back on the sidelines? Image what she saw and went through simply tending the wounded? Imagine her response when the fighting resumed after seeing Harry's (assumed dead) body? How did the OotP and Hogwarts forces hold the line when the the Death Eaters/dark forces got to the castle walls? So many questions... and I haven't even started on wizarding war-fighting tactics! But the story was about Harry, first and foremost. Will there be more? More than likely, no. But I would treasure a book just about the Battle of Hogwarts (written a la Stephen Ambrose) from Ms. Rowling.

Little late, but thanks, Lupinpatronus. It started to feel like I was the only one to notice such. ^^ I don't listen but I do read the transcripts. I can't wait for this one.
