Half-Blood Prince for Wii preview
Half-Blood Prince for Wii preview Kotaku.com has made a blog post about their recent experience with the upcoming Half-Blood Prince video game for Nintendo Wii. Their preview talks about how the controls worked for a duel between Harry and Draco:

We faced off at either end of a long room, and you hold up the Wii remote to charge your wand for a powerful attack (leaving you undefended), or simply shake the remote in your opponent's direction to fire off a series of quick bursts.

You use the Nunchuk to move side to side, and swinging both Wii remote and Nunchuk across your body causes you to produce a deflection shield that can send your opponent's projectiles right back at him. Shaking both produces a special attack that can knock your opponent down or stun him.

Im sooo looking forward to this! I actually havent finished the OTP game yet, even though I got it for Christmas.. :P To much school... But if ayone wonders if its worth buying a Wii just for the Harry Potter games, stop wondering: It is! :P It just gets you a tiny bit closer to the magical world since you can actually use a "wand", and that feeling is absolutely great! :D

Goodness! I'm so excited! We have the OotP game for Wii, and that was amazing. I hope that HBP is just like the last game, because you could explore the castle all over, and things didn't need 5 minutes to load. And I hope there's no return of magic green and yellow beans like in the first three video games. (No, we don't want that!)

This report is just another reason for me not to get the video game. One I HATE video games. Two I can handle the wii controlers. Thirdly All the compony was is your money, so the company tries any way they can to make the game system a Must have, which I am not buying!!!

I love it, it is really cool action and reality moves, but even when some people do not like games or does not understand them (I one of them), that does not mean they are not cool.

Posted by Rose37 Jun 28th 2008

To trueligth!!! Yes it does matter ( To me atleast)!!!

They make a fuss about Hogsmeade, but I assure you, Harry, it's not all it's cracked up to be. All right, the sweetshop's rather good, and Zonko's Joke Shop is frankly dangerous, and yes, the Shrieking Shack's always worth a visit, but really, Harry, apart from that you're not missing anything.
