It *could* be with both movies. It could debut with Dark Knight and then show with the Mummy as well. Maybe that's too optimistic, but there are instances (rare or not) where the same trailer is in multiple movies. ...or maybe I'm in just denial because I'm really banking on it being with Dark Knight!

This better NOT be the case! I do NOT want to spend my money to watch the Mummy. UGHHH. C'mon WB! PLEASE LET IT COME W/ THE DARK NIGHT!

C'mon... This is just the release of the preview...After the first one comes out it will be every where.... I for one would pay to watch the Mummy if it meant a preview of HBP even though I would much rather see Dark Night

I may be totally wrong but isn't it the norm that BIG trailers are shown with the same production company-so why would Warner Bros put HBP in front of a Universal film? Maybe I'm talking crazy but I figured a big trailer such as HP would be in front of a WB movie (?) Please comment if I'm wrong:)

honestly, whats the point of having a teaser trailer anymore? if they are going to release it so late they might as well release the entire trailer. i really hope this teaser trailer is longer than a minute...

The Dark Knight is the only movie coming out soon that I deem worthy of HBP's trailer. If it debuted with the Mummy, Space Chimps or whatever, I would feel like Harry Potter had been defiled.

UGHHH! WHAT???? THE MUMMY? I would not go to see that movie even if it did have the HBP trailer in front of it! I would have gone to see The Dark Knight for it, though... which I may still see anyways. Hopefully this is just a really bad rumor... & August 1st?? Umm... yeah then there would only be 3 months until the movie actually comes out! What would be the point of a teaser trailer at that point? Wouldn't we normally have a full trailer at that point in the past?

That sounds false. Why would they wait for AUGUST?! That's two months away from the movie! It sounds almost impossible. I'm betting on Dark Knight still because, come on, NO ONE was speculation on wether or not it would be with The Mummy. I say; RUMOR. :) I'm still stoked that there's so much news, though.

Makes absolutely no sense to put it with a competitor's movie! WB would not do that. They know a lot of HP fans will go to see Dark Knight because they got the extra push of the teaser trailer. I was only thinking of going to see it, but I want to now that I think HBP will be in it. They're not going to boost their competitor's sales.........BUT, isn't Universal in charge of the HP theme park??? Could make some sense then, but...I doubt it.

I made my last comment before I read the others, but now that I did, I'm going to have to agree. If this IS true, the HBP trailer would show with Dark Knight first. I also agree with whoever said that TDK is the only worthy movie of the HPB trailer.

grrrr excuse me while i go pull my hair out. this is getting ridiculous, we're all going on this huge rollercoaster ride. first, i wrote in my calendar that hbp came out on the 21st Nov then i had to move it back to the 27th and now i have to move it to dec 11th! Then i wrote a countdown for TDK and now the teaser's not even with it! my whole countdown has been screwed up now. that should be on your conscience forever WB.

Well, I want to see both The Dark Knight, and The Mummy, so it's not a big deal in that sense. However, I don't want to have to wait until August now, I mean JEEZ, waiting for July 23 is hard enough!

I see that a good news must come to an end!!! O,well!!! The mummy movie needs all the help it can recieve to be even close to money making conpared to The Dark Knight movie, that alone with no help could easy beat the Mummy!!!

I doubt they would put up the teaser trailer three months from the release, maybe the teaser is till with TDK and the official trailer is with TM:TDE.

So I work for a movie theater company and we have an employee news letter . While searching the news letter I found the teaser poster for HBP its really small though it shows harry and dumbledors silhouettes in a cave. It is advertising for the IMAX movie. I will try to send it in but im trying to do so without giving out the website. As it is only for employees i cant give out the site to everyone!!!! :( So as soon as I can send it to someone that works here without reveling the site everyone will be able to see it.
