OK, I am so tired of all this nonsense. I actually build the movie prints every week at my movie theatre. All of the trailors are either shipped in the can or attatched to the movie. And seeing that HBP is a huge release, it will be attached to whichever print it is going to be released on. I am not sure of the validity of someones manager talking to WB. But with my experience I will say that it didn't happen. Now, the people that work at the movie theatres have no idea what trailors are going to be on which movie until the wendsday before the release of the film. So I totally agree that this should be thrown into the rumor bin. I personally think that the teaser will be released with The Dark Knight. It is a huge release, so it will attract the most attention to the Trailor.

I just watched the trailer for The Mummy & was totally p/o`d when the music at the end was Order of the Phoenix`s. I mean, I know it's not THEIRS, but still - choose different music, not one that's already been used..... :/

Doesn't Dark Night come out on July 18th? So whoever said that it would be nice if it came out with Mummy because it would be sooner is dead wrong. Plus, I really hope it's with Dark Night because I REALLY don't want to see Mummy, but I REALLY do want to see TDK.

From what I have read in the comments of people who claim to work in the movie theatres the trailer is set to be released with an IMAX movie and I don't believe The Mummy is being released in IMAX and Dark Knight is. I would not worry too much for the trailer is set to be released in IMAX theatres which will be the coolest thing which hopefully will make it worth the wait.

You're kidding me. The wait's extended AGAIN? If the teaser isn't coming out until then, when are they supposed to put out a normal trailer?! Would it just be considered an extremely short normal trailer at this point? Did they actual manage to weasel their way out of a teaser trailer, and find a way to have a very short normal trailer, as well? I'm not sure, 'cause I don't know much about movies.

I work at a movie theater as well and I have heard significant rumors of the teaser trailer debuting on Dark Knight. First of all Warner Bros is very picky with their trailers, and it is most likely that they will want a WB trailer on a WB movie...a popular one at that. Also, we are long overdue for the trailer. We should know for sure at my theater by the 14th as that is when we get the official trailer list. Right now I still strongly believe it will be attached to Dark Knight.

I smell a rat!!! Is WB trying to boost their sales for the new fiscal quarter. Since almost everything is riding on the Dark Knight. I will tell you this. I will not be going to see the crappy mummy just for the sake of a trailer. When I can just look on apple/quicktime trailers or rotten tomatoes the same day to see it. Without waisting money seeing Jet li play a dark prince and Brendan Fraser try to revitalize his sad career from 9 years ago. (How original)

Personally, i dont mind which film it is realeased with, but i do hope that it is with both (the mummy AND the dark kinght) because that means i can go and see two films aaaaand the teaser trailer twice! Hmm, I hope this is just a rumor. I have no interest in seeing the new Mummy movie (why is there another anyway, didn't the last one bomb??). I'm excited to see the trailer, but not 13 bucks just to see it and then leave the movie excited.

LunaIsOurQueen, the difference between a teaser trailer and a real trailer is: teaser trailer: the useless little random clips of the film usually about a minute or so long and give you no information as to the content of the movie whatsoever. these are the ones people usually spend their time getting their food in so they can be in the cinema in time for the actual movie. real trailer: the ones which actually show what the movie is about, like the longer ones you see on tv. these also go for longer than teaser trailers, which are only made to "tease" us with it. hope that helped :) if it didn't just go to youtube and search for the teaser trailer of a movie that's already out and then search the trailer of it, that should help :)

Well, I've seen The Mummy 1 and The Mummy 2, and frankly that's four hours of my life that I want back. I hate The Mummy with a passion, and there is no one and nothing in this world that can force me to go see The Mummy 3. I don't care if the sixth trailer is amazing, I'll settle for watching it on the computer. I really hope the trailer is with The Dark Knight. I was going to go and see it anyway because it's Heath Leadger's last movie.
