I agree. The helmet and the other padding that Ron is wearing just looks awful. I don't think they even wore any type of padding in the books, did they? Also, where is Mugglecast???!

Also, what's are the sweaters in the last picture the new quidditch uniforms? They look wierd, especially in that photo, with Hermionie in her muggle gear and all.

I hate slughorn's look... it doesn't seem right... miss the bald, mustache, the belly, dragon skin outfit... even the pineapple... yeah, i know, i'm being picky, but i really really wanted to see that character and... i feel truly disappointed... for the rest... Slughorn looks very weird. He looks too comical. And the Quidditch outfits are awful! My god, what were they thinking!? And Harry's Gryffindor turtleneck sweater makes him look gay!

Chommy - I love his sweater! I want one! And as far as Ron's helmet goes, I would bet that it's supposed to be a joke. It's too ridiculous looking to be serious. I like it, though. It makes me laugh. :) I'm happy we're finally getting all these pics though. It makes me more patient for the trailer. And that picture of Luna is lovely!

Draco reminds me, for some reason, of a Cullen. Which is great because that's much close to my image of Draco than he's previously been portrayed.

Slughorn looks terrible. its like they didn't even read what he looks like. as for the Quidditch uniforms they suck, Luna's glasses are terrible looking, its like they aren't even trying to make this movie good.. why they couldn't have got Chris Columbus to direct 6 and 7....

I love the pictures!! Yes, I prefer the old Quidditch uniforms, but the new ones aren't TOO bad. Luna is awesome! Slughorn is adorable! Personally, I don't care if the actors don't look EXACTLY like the characters, as long as they can pull the character itself off. I have no doubt in my mind that Jim Broadbent can.!

Yo! Don't diss Ron's new helmet! The ootp sneak peaks of hbp said that the helmet's are only worn for practice. He won't actually be wearing it for the games. As for Slughorn, I think the role was a good choice.

i think the pic of ron with the "quidditch team" is actually the tryouts... way too many people to make up the team. and ron looks ridiculous with the helmet- why is he the only one wearing it? trailer's gotta be out soon, with WB releasing all of these pictures.

Guys, chill out on the helmet! I guarantee you it's there to add a bit of comic relief...probably adds a lot to Ron's character and the fact that when it comes to Quidditch he's pretty much a bumbling idiot. I'm more disappointed that Slughorn isn't morbidly obese w/ a thick mustache...I thought that defined his character.

I think every thing looks great so far, I can picture some the movie scenes already. The movie is BASED on the book, so everything is not going to be identical to the book and people should be open minded till they see the movie.
