Only because I don't really care for the series. All I want to do is to read the book(s), so that I can still be part of my library's book club!!! well, i know i won't be rushing off to see TDK for a freaking 15 second teaser trailer. betcha we get 20 seconds of something next month and the real, honest to goodness 30+ seconds in sept & oct. like someone else said.....i know "we" want it NOW but....all in good time! hey rose37, if you need some books for your book club, i've been reading the series from angie sage "Magyk" "Flyte" "Physik" (i'm on this one) and "Qwest" . Does have some eerily (sp?) similar references to HP....but for a good magic tale...pretty good or I wouldn't have gone out to buy the rest of the series. (someone let me borrow magyk).

MAybe the only reason I like it is because I love love stories with action mixed in. Hance the reason Moulin Rouge! and Titanic are my favorite movies. Fia, look I did read it first, I actually had no prejudice when I read it, the summary sounded interesting. It was gaining fame and I dont usually read all of those vampire stories so i thought it would be interesting to try one. To tell the truth my taste in books is very different from the taste of other hp fans, chances are if I hated it most of you will like it. I hated narnia and the series of unfourtunate events a lot more. I have a knack for guessing what's going to happen and I hate when it kicks in. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings. I do it quite a lot since there aren't many hp fans with my taste. As i said you can take comfort knowing that since I hated it most hp fans will love it if they give it a try. Sorry

Let us try this again. I was just at the library and was typing up my mugglent comment on this topic, when website shut down and that is when I decided to ask the librarians to help me look up a copy of the #1 book in the twight series. Guess what all of the librarys near where I live has all together 34 copies total and there is a waiting list for 205 people, which everyone has three weeks total to finish reading the book. So in turn I won't have my hands on the book until September, if I am lucky!!!! Also, I was so mad with that bit of news that I took my frustration on the librarians and wasted their time, so that they could understand my pain. I am NOT going to buy a book when I don't even care for the book. I just don't understand why my book club had to choose a most hard time to get your hands on a book, when the group could wait until the fourth book in the series finally comes out and than we can read all of the books and not just three out of the four. Thank you to all for your help on the twight series search and I hope People understand that once you make a die hard fan made THERE IS NO HELP FOR YOU LELF!!! Who...this thread is getting heated, lol. I think it all boils down to...why is WB and Yates being so freakin' difficult??? HBP is only 4 months away and all they have to show for it is some boring pictures and a 15 second clip...I don't even want to call it a trailer anymore. It's just ridiculous!! Secondly, I just don't understand why they think it is necessary to change stuff in the plot. The whole argument about not wanting to introduce a new character...heck, that's WB's fault. I seriously do not think it would have been that difficult to find a red-head dude to show on the screen for 15 measly seconds, holding hands with Fleur (who the audience will remember from GOF) and saying, "Can't wait for the wedding" and then waste all of 5 seconds showing various members of the Weasley family frowning while Ron whispers to Harry (that's my bro, Bill!)...Then there would be no reason to have Greyback jump on Arthur rather than Bill. Like I said before, can't wait for the other movie to come out..Summit seems to care more about that other fandom than WB is caring for HP fandom right about now...I apolgize for my hostility for those of you who are excited about this "trailer" and who don't mind the supposed Mr. Weasley change... You know I've never in my entire life obessed over anything but then I read Harry Potter actually the first one I read was OOTP and I started at 2pm and didn't put it down until close to midnight. and the next morning I rushed out to my local Hastings and bought SS thru HBP and was sooooooooooooooo Hooked and as soon as DH came out It was added to the collection. I've read and re-read all of the books so many times that I can quote the books backwards and forwards so lord help me if the WB screw up these last two movies (ok three movies) Because I do know how to spam the H*LL out of the WB...

I had no idea they weren't including Bill in the 6th movie. What does that mean for the DH movies? I thought the whole idea of splitting the book into two films was to do it right and incorporate everything, not to change the plot around. Of all the movies, DH is not one to mess with. And if they're already cutting out characters, what else are they going to change?

For the fifth movie we had a teaser trailer 8 months before the movie release. Now we're closing in on 4 months before the movie release and we get nothing but a few pictures? It doesn't make sense to me :(

Wow am I dissapointed....And about people's comments regarding movie changes and such: I am so nervous about DH cause everything just sounds sooooo messed up. Are they planning on keeping anything the same? This sounds like it's turning into a whole different story. They better keep the wedding in the 7th film because i wanted to see Ron's Aunt first of all and also I wanted to see Ron and Hermione dance. This was a funny/cute scene that will make me sad if they take it out or change it all around :( I am not very happy right now. Well I guess on the bright side we are finally starting to see some action for the movie!!!

I am so frustrated with the fact that David Yates will be most likely directing the seventh film too. If Arthur Weasley gets bit instead of Bill, this actually affects the outcomes of the future film. I wanted to see a grand wizard wedding, Shell Cottage, and Teddy Lupin. Speaking of Teddy Lupin, has David decided that Tonks should show her face in the sixth film or will he keep her in the dark too? I absolutely hated the fifth film and I was hoping the sixth and seventh would end up making up for it. I think it's time we have new director to do the seventh. I'm just sick of all this shhh that's ruining the movies! If only I was a witch...

No offense, but I think people need to settle down a bit. Not a whole lot of these details people are complaining about haven't been confirmed one way or the other (like Dumbledore's funeral for example). The whole Mr. Weasley instead of Bill thing doesn't bother me, as it'll make the attack more personal, since we've gotten to know Mr. Weasley in the movies, and Bill hasn't even been mentioned, let alone seen in any of the movies. In the end, as long as JK Rowling is happy with the movie, I'm happy with it. As for the preview itself, I actually want to see it in theatres, even though it isn't really much. I just want to really hear Dumbledore's voice saying that line, and the logo on the big screen. As for why it's a bit later than usual, I really don't care. It's not like we weren't going to get it eventually. Actually, I like that they've held it back a bit. Helps build up the wait for the movie a bit more. It's going to be a loooong wait for the next one after this to come out. I really haven't seen this much "fan" moaning since before the TF movie was released last year. It's kinda sad, imo, that so many people complain that they aren't getting exactly what they want. I think everybody should just calm down a bit and wait to actually see the movie before complaining about it.
