Okay, kids. What are we? Pre-schoolers? No, I didn't think so. Stop acting like ungrateful, little twits. We're all going to go see it regardless. If you're not going to go see it, then you REALLY have no business complaining. You people, as fans, have to understand that everything is ran by the mastermind of this wonderful world we've fallen in love with. Jo has the ultimate say so. She has praised the films. Everything MUST be ok'd with her before it gets the green light. Every character cut, every sub-plot removed is put through to her first. So, to be upset with the decisions is to be upset with her. She knows what is more valuable in the series than any of us. If Bill being cut is okay by her, then it is okay by me and it should be okay with you. The 15-minute dialogue preview is a marketing strategy. WB is not going to cater to us fans. They are going to cater to everyone. In fact, it is an excellent marketing strategy. Like someone else here said, they know we're going to see it. We're the real fans. They're just reeling in the regular movie-goer. Was anyone not enticed by this news? I was. I was foaming at the mouth to see the film and I'm a die-hard Harry Potter fan. What do you think the regular movie-goer will think? They're going to be intrigued. It's a good move, people. We will get a real teaser trailer soon. Eventually, and you may not have known this, we will get the actual film. And then you can start complaining all over again. But for now? Shut up.

Also, stop complaining to David Yates about how much he sucks for cutting characters. That decision is left with the screenwriter who is, unfortunately, Steve Kloves. So, if you must complaing, send them to him. It's his "fault". And you must remember, these are adapted from the books. Adaptation means to be adjusted to new conditions. The book has to be ADJUSTED and CHANGED to become a movie. To expect an exact paper to film copy would be, as Dumbledore put it in Half-Blood Prince (which is fitting since we're all complaining about it), "optimistic to the point of foolishness". So, stop.

yes, im dissapointed that the teaser trailer isnt longer and is just a blank screen, but if you see it in the cinema with dumbledore's voice, i can totally picture myself getting uberly excited. also WTF is david yates doing? yes, he's a brilliant director but he's messing us around and changing the plot. he's dissapointing millions of fans around the world, with what he might think are 'small' changes.

and how are they going to do the DH scene when harry and dobby etc apparate to fluer and bills house beside the sea? it wouldnt work 'cause that's where they stay 'cause no one would guess that they were there. david yates is being a total arse.

his is kinda off topic and random and it might be old news, but isn't kinda weird that Ginny looks like Lily in a way and thats why JKR might of pick Ginny to be Harry's wife since he looks like James also harry might of fell for Ginny because she reminded him of his mother in a way. THIS IS REALLY RANDOM BUT I NEED 2 GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD. b/c i notice when they were in the dept of mystery in the 5th movie and after Ginny used reducto on that death eater theres a shot of Ginny and Harry close together and they look like Lily and James.

yep the similarities between james and lily, harry and ginny , are there, but I dont think harry fell for ginny because of her kind of similarity to Lily. I think JKR drew similarites between the two couples so show history repeating itself, and that a black haired man and a red headed woman can fall in love again years after the first couple like then did, but that this time they can live happly in a world where Voldemort is vanquished! Thats my 2 cents on the matter anyhoo!

I'm not sure that JKR had much influence in the casting but who knows. I mean, the two actresses have been the same since the first movie, right? They resemble each other. It could be a coincidence or it could be by design. I'm guessing it is the former. That being said....the two are often decribed similarly and I'm sure that's no accident. I love how last year when we were getting Order of the Phoenix movie news left and right and we got new clips of the movie every week, half of you were complaining that the movie had been basically ruined because of all of the clips being shown. Sigh, you reap what you sow.

hey, thanks to the previous poster (i can't find the post) about going to msn and click on video and search hp and hbp trialer. I am on page 2 and some of the "trailers" are fabulous!!! Whets my appetite!! Even the music is great. I wonder if wb can do something as good! doubt it. some of the scenes even look new!! Oh, and not to get off topic but i did go to see journey 2 the center of the earth in 3-d. EXCELLENT!!!!!

I went yesterday at the IMAX to see "The Dark Knight" and no trailer of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince", I was little disapponted. The movie is kool, but no trailer :0((.
