Half-Blood Prince teaser trailer to premiere Tuesday!
Half-Blood Prince teaser trailer to premiere Tuesday! UPDATE: Warner Brothers has informed us that the teaser will be going live at the same time as the satellite feeds: 9 PM EST.

(Digg this story!) Amid rumors of a teaser premiere this morning, Warner Brothers has officially confirmed with us that the Half-Blood Prince teaser trailer WILL be released on AOL Tuesday!

Want to catch it on the big screen too? MuggleNet first told you about The Mummy rumors back in early July, and this is most likely the film it will be attached to.

MuggleCast will be bringing you a live episode on Ustream some time after the trailer is released. We'll let you know when we have details nailed down.

horcrux2007 - That's just what I was thinking too! I was like "Well, HBP might not be a hit, but Deathly Hallows (especially part 2) will definitely be BIG." :D I just hope Twilight doesn't beat HBP in the box office. *crosses fingers* I don`t hate Twilight or anything, I just can`t STAND it when a movie beats HP. Lol. :D

OMG, that's so exciting!! I haven't been on Mugglenet in FOREVER, but that's not because I've forgotten my favorite book series! I've just been really busy this summer. I'm getting really excited for some of the movies coming out this fall, especially HP, but also Twilight. I'm as crazy for Edward Cullen as the next Twilight fangirl, but Harry still is more special to me;)

Posted by chommy Jul 26th 2008

Why is Mugglenet acting as though they just confirmed this? Didn't they confirm this a couple days ago already?

Posted by chommy Jul 26th 2008

And by the way, about the fact that HBP might not beat TDK. I don't think it will. And I don't care either. The only movies I see as competition for HP are LotR, Narnia, and now Twilight. I don't think Batman fans are laughing at us and whoever said that probably just made that up. I'm a Batman fan and I really liked TDK! It was definitely one of the better movies that's coming this year. HBP probably won't be quite as good, I'm afraid, because of frickin David Yates. I'm sorry to say that I'm beginning to hate Harry Potter slowly and slowly, which is shocking because I used to say that I would die for HP and I used to say that if I died after all the movies and books are finished, I'd die happy. Now I won't. HBP and DHP1 and DHP2 are probably going to suck. The only reason I'd watch the movies are because of Daniel Radcliffe (hottie and the only reason OotP was good) and Rupert Grint and Emma Watson. I love those three and I hate that they are being made to make crap films.

YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAAYAY!!!!! !!!!!! SO HAPPY!!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!! Also, I can't wait to watch the mummy, I love that movie!!!! So it's a double treat when I watch it. hahahah! Hope it's good because we barely got any information about this movie at all compared to the other movies. I remember that POA released so many clips about the movie! Also, GOF was pretty ok. It didn't release too much or too little. With OOP, there were just a few clips and now with HBP, everyone's getting excited for just a three minute (I'm guessing how long it is) trailer. in the past, they've released a lot. Now I'm dying. Well I guess it's ok. All of us Harry potter fans will be so shocked when we see the movie! We won't know what to expect at all. With the other films, we saw so many clips, we knew what to expect, but this one is going to be a shocker. haha.

I feel that I should clear up some questions that were asked and never answered!!! To GemmaGinny: I am sure the trailer will be on the warner bros's website, but first, the trailer will have to be on aol's website sometime on Tuesday. The full length trailer will be during the previews of the mummy movie and than I am sure the trailer will be released shortly after that on the internet. Hermionesfuturehusband: I am sure the teaser Trailer will be released earler than 10pm. Hpintwense06 did say that the teaser trailer will be set at 9pm est. Angeline_jonhson92: Tuesday releases the teaser trailer. The mummy movie will contain the full length trailer. Suzieq: I totally agree with you, on both points. Snapezgood: I agree and I will e-mail you, but what do I say in the e-mail and last but not least, WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, TP2008??? ARE YOU REALLY SAYING THAT THE IMAX CONTAINED THE TEASER TRAILER OF HP, AND NOT JUST A 15 SEC INFO OF THE UPCOMING HP MOVIE??? NO WAY!!! NOW I REALLY WISH THAT I SAW THE DARK KNIGHT IN IMAX!!! THAT WOULD BE A MOMMENT TO REMEMBER FOR EVER!!!

Posted by dont_look_down Jul 27th 2008

don't be thick, of course they didnt have the teaser in the dark knight. all they had was the 15sec 'teaser teaser'. tp2008 obviously wasnt up to speed with whats happening..

Posted by horcrux2007 Jul 27th 2008

yay 101 (there are movies on this number u know)

Posted by kleigh629 Jul 27th 2008

I' m sort of surprised they didn't decide to premiere a trailer at the International Comic-Con in San Diego this weekend. That's always been a huge event for movies and entertainment, especially in the Fantasy and Sci-Fi arena. After all, they debuted trailers for Star Wars prequel films and the recent Indiana Jones film there. Why not HP and HBP?? I'm just grateful to be getting anything at all!!!

Posted by MagicMaker222 Jul 28th 2008

I saw in a comment someone saying something about a 30 second teaser. IS IT REALLY ONLY GOING TO BE 30 SECONDS LONG? Really? Oh and one more thing. If HBP falls second to another movie this year..I don't think it will be Batman. I think it will be Twilight. Sure Batman had a great opening weekend

Posted by MagicMaker222 Jul 28th 2008

My comment got cut off. But as I was saying sure Batman did great the opening weekend the numbers will drop when people see it's just an average film-minus the joker he was great- All WB do some more advertising for HBP and it could do just as well. Just the name of Harry Potter sales well. But if WB keeps sitting on it's butt until November, people outside of the immediate fan base are going to surprised in November when they see the movie poster at the theater. People are going to think** HMM I didn't know they were coming out with another Harry Potter movie! I wonder when it comes out? It's already out? What? Dang I didn't know that!** But as for Twilight, now there's where HP may have to worry. They are pumping up the movie and with the books selling so well I think they will actually probably in the top two money maker this year. Anyone else agree?

Posted by kreacher888 Jul 28th 2008

Magic Maker, i agree to an extent. i agree with the fact taht if WB doesnt saturate the movie theatres and Tv stations with promos and other advetizing. people who dont vist sites like muggleent on a regular basis will have no idea whats going on. But like you said, the name Harry Potter sells therefore i belive that even though Twilight and their execs have obviously much ideas and will gross a lot of money. but will not be number one. Twilight isnt as well known as harry potter seeing as how some of HP readers have a;ready grown up, while most twilight readers are younger and not as expansive

WHAT EVER YOU DO, DON'T BELIEVE IN THE "Harry Potter Half Blood Prince Trailer - LEAKED!!" VIDEO ON YOUTUBE OR ANY HP WEBSITE!!! THE VIDEO IS A TRICK AND HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HP!!! I REPEAT, THE VIDEO CONTAINS NOTHING ABOUT HP AND IS JUST A TRICK FOR PEOPLE LIKE TRUE HP FANS TO END UP WATCHING IT!!! IT IS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME, SO DO BELIEVE WHAT YOU READ!!! THANK YOU!!!

Posted by NaomiToo Jul 28th 2008

My comment got cut off. But as I was saying sure Batman did great the opening weekend the numbers will drop when people see it's just an average film ------------------- ------------------------- ------------------ G arbage, garbage and more garbage.
