OMG! I mean its not like 1 am where I am so I feel bad for all of you who had to stay up for this......BUT OMG WASN'T THAT JUST THE AWESOMEST THING EVER IN THE HISTORY OF THE FREAKIN' WORLD????? Ok it was a little bellow that but still wasn't it worth it?? I mean finally we get some movie scenes. i like Tom Riddle in this one. maybe he should be a little taller though....Idk. what was with Ginny and her wand being cast out of her hand? During the patrolling of the corridors in the end?? Idk but that wasn't Fenrir Greyback in the bushes though was it? it didn't look like it. Anyway Omg i am so relieved!!!! and this one looks rele good. I hope other trailers for the movie come out soon though. URGH! I CAN'T WAIT FOR NOVEMBER! seriously though someone explain to me what the Ginny scene was all about......:P

ah, people. just because they didn't show any love scenes or Snape scenes in this trailer doesn't mean they won't be in the movie. book 6 was not my favorite book, but this trailer is just so exciting! The only thing I'm worried about is that I thought the OOTP trailers were awesome, and then i was kind of dissappointed with the movie. Hopefully that won't happen this time!!

ImagineerHarry - Perhaps the Burrow attack scene? (Ginny) I read this leaked script about it, and Ginny's in the attack scene. I just hope that this movie will live up to this awesome freaking trailer! My good god. Worth the wait! After so many disappointments, who wouldn't be happy with this trailer? It's like a dream come true!

I thought this trailer was fantastic. After reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince recently, I felt as though the filming really captured the essence of the scene when Dumbledore first meets young Tom Riddle in the orphanage. It was taunting and makes you afraid of Tom's capabilities. I think what some people need to realize after reading some of the comments is that it is only the teaser trailer. There is still more to see and yes, they are "teasing" us with bits from the movie so don't be too quick to judge. Thank god Michael Gambon removed that ridiculous hair band from his beard because we all know that is SO NOT DUMBLEDORE!

the trailer seemed to only focus on dumbledore and tom,and then some more dumbledore.WHERE WAS HERMIONE? and DRACO and SNAPE and everyone else. thanks for showing us that whole one scene. o well at least its something...not very thrilled with it tho=/

Let's hope that if this is the Burrow being attacked that the rumors aren't true about Arthur Weasley being attacked by Fenrir Greyback instead of Bill. If that is true, then for Christ's Sakes WB, can't any of these movies be somewhat canon at all?!?!

It seems the trailer was just to get people excited, it didnt show any other scenes really but it was pretty suspenseful. They still have a while to get out a more complete trailer thats more reflective of the entire movie, but imo this was pretty good.

hmmmmm, at first i was so excited by this i couldn't contain myself, then the internet connection failed and many profanities escaped from my mouth. after repairing the connection and watching the trailer many times i realized something, there is not one single thing in the trailer relating to snape, potions, the half blood prince, the prince's potion book, or anything along those lines...

I just noticed something, where the mother is Harry in the memory? Or the other Dumbledore? Please, please, pleaseee don't tell me that Harry's just going to stick his head in that water, and see the memory? Oh my gosh. Is that it? OMG. I hope not. I seriously don`t want that..... :(

While I'm so happy to final see the trailer, and little Tom looks brilliant, I'm wondering why most of the memory-bottles say "Thomas Marvolo Riddle" on the label. Last I checked it was just Tom. :/ Oh well, it's a minor detail that shouldn't affect the movie too much. I'm glad it's finally here!

Tom Riddle is totally creepy, but I love it. And Dumbledore is pretty good, for once, though the one in my imagination will always pwn Micheal Gambon. Ron lying on the floor poisoned though! That was amazing, exactly how I imagined it! (when I was reading the book I thought he was going to die; I wonder if people who only see the movies will think the same as I did). And the music was good again, almost as good as when they had John Williams! The book was amazing, I hope the movie will do it justice this time. Ooooh, this is all so exciting...!!!!

I just found a story from MTV from February and it talked about an added scene for this book to demonstrate all the bad things happening in the outside world...hence the "attack on the Burrow". So yes, they fabricated a new scene to help emphasize things they had trouble incorporating into the movie. Ugh.

Ahhhhh the trailer is amazing! I am freaking out!! The movie looks like it will be the best one yet! They've seemed to pay attention to some real important stuff so it looks like it will be pretty accurate to the books! I do have one thing to say though, I'm not complaing, but during the pensieve scene, where are Harry and present day Dumbledore? They should be seen standing in the room while oyunger Dumbledore talks to Tom right?

WOW that was amazing!!! This is definitely going to blow the others out of the water, that trailer is just... wow. I don't want to go thru 300+ comments so I'll just ask here. Did anyone else catch the walls of Tom's room are the same brick as the Ministry of Magic? I think they're really trying to show a connection between these two people at such different points in life with that. It's so subtle, but we just saw their last encounter in OOTP, and now we see their first encounter here, and the setting is very similar. Bravo! Awesome job to the filmmakers!

Yes! Excellent trailer- it practiced a little more subtlety than others of late. I'm LOVING the little Tom Riddle- he was perfectly cast. The trailer DOES make the film appear Riddle-centric, which is a little concerning, but I'm sure its for the intrigue of it all. I just hope the next trailer that comes out is a little more, well, FUN. Anyway, one of the best trailers yet- well done WB!

I was not impressed by the trailer. It was not enough to make me want to see the movie. They butchered the GoF and OotP so badly I refuse to see another one of the movies. the last 2 movies they could have split into 2 different movies. The Deathly Hallows did not need to be split. The ONLY way I would see either of the last movies is if they showed enough trailers to show they went more toward the books again. What was the deal with Ginny in her robe in a field?! And going by the movies, why is Dumbledore bothering to carry a wand, the movies show him using all kinds of magic without one. Guess he will decide it to be a good time to die at the end of the movie if he can do magic without a wand and still doesn't do anything on the tower.

Is it just me or is Dumbledore looking like Gandalf? Not that it's a complaint. D has been looking a bit goofy in the last movies. Maybe it's the way he has to hold up his dress all the time.

Oh, as far as it being centered on Voldemort: Think about how complicated this story is. Now think of how to convey it to the general public. This was a way to tell everyone, "This film is about Voldemort, and GASP! DUMBLEDORE was the one who introduced him to magic!" For the people who haven't read the books, that may come as a shock to see their exchange when Tom is still a child, and leave them not knowing what to expect (also wanting more). I'm sure the full trailer will have much more scope. This IS the teaser, after all.

FINALLY...Now, I'm satisfied. The trailer looks good. Young Tom Riddle is very creepy, and the orphanage scene looks very true to the book. I hope a future trailer shows Snape, seeing that he's the Half Blood Prince. Strange...there was no Hermione in the trailer, was it? Only Harry, Dumbledore, Ron, and Ginny...and Voldy. Now, I am really looking forward to the full trailer! =)

oh man. Every time I watch, it's just as good as the first time I saw it. I love love love how the memory is shown. I LOVE the part where Dumbledore sets the cabinet on fire and young Tom has that face where he ALMOST smiles... it's perfect. and every time they show the flashes of Voldemort it gives me chills. :]
