I love this trailer!!! I think the movie is going to be great. But, of course, it has really given me the fever now for more! Can't wait! I love the actor playing young Tom Riddle. He is excellant. Plays it with just enough darkness! Kudos to WB. Do people say Kudos any more? Oh well! I will say it one more time. Kudos! Loved it. I have watched it 10 times already!

That was AWSOME!! Young Tom was really creepy. Everyone is saying that is Ginny running threw the feild. If you pause the trailor at that moment, you see that it is Harry running through the feild. Probably running from the Death Eaters or trying to get to Ginny to save her from whoever disarmed her at the water.

At least I know that they are going to that scene pure justice. I really liked the movie. And Michael Gambdon isn't AS bad as I thought he would be but he still seems way too harsh for Dumbledore. Other than Dumbledore, the trailer was REALLY good. I can't wait for the actual trailer and I'm glad Dumbledore seems a LITTLE more Dumbledorish (hehe I like how that sounds... dumbledorish...)

I guess its good for a teaser, I just wish we could have seen MORE of the movie, but it was a captivating into for people who maybe havent seen the movies also. I hope we get a nice long Trailer too, but I wont hold my breath, if I'd done that for this one I'd have been dead long ago.

I am SSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!!!!! It looks really good and word from word in the book!!!!! (story) I am not yet a teen and I was watching the trailer in my room. I hear my overprotective mom walk in behind me, but I am to interested in the teaser trailer to look @ her. When the trailer ends she exclaims in a disgusted/terrified voice, "MY GOD!!!! Is this what the books are actually like?! It's like a trailer for a Horror film!!!" And I think to myself, "Only better."

Ahhh, that was GREAT! I am super excited now! I was dreading from the interviews that this would turn in to some kind of dumb teen flick with all the talk of Romance and Humor but now I feel much better! And guys, stop freaking out about the lack of other characters in teaser. It is a TEASER. And I'm sure it was just for marketing strategy. If they show Hogwarts, Trio, Snape, ect like they've done in ALL the other trailers what are non potter fans going to think? They'll think it's the exact same thing as all the other movies. Now atleast, we know that the movies are evolving. By the way, does any one know why Dumbledore appears to be standing on a bunch of giant Crystals in the cave part?

The trailer was soooooooooo AWESOME! I WATCHED IT THREE TIMES ALREADY! NOW IMMA WATCH IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN. RUPERT AND DAN ARE SO SEXY! Barely got to see Emma/Hermione. I wish there was some romance in it, the book, and quittich! Then it would be more perfect in my eyes! But still it was really good. I really did like OOTP but i felt like it was too choopy. It needed to slow down. I hope that HBP will be much better. More expressive of feelings and love. I hope that they really make the happy scenes meaningful and the sad scenes very emotional enough to make us cry, but that's what David once said in an interview, so I'm expecting it to be great. HBP was my fav book and so is DH! Can't wait for the movie now!

I am very impressed with Michael's acting as Dumbledore and the young tom riddle! Dumbledore is suppose to be more gentle but also strong and controlled with his emotions. I think dumbledore was portrayed the best in this movie! well it has to be the best since he's not in the last movie. sorry for anyone who didn't read DH if I spoiled it, but I'm sure all of you have. by my earlier comment, by "the book" I meant the half blood prince book. They didn't really show where the title came from in the first place. This is the official trailer right? O_o

haha i am with my friend who doesnt really like harry, but i guess the word would be accepts it. so i told her we HAAAD to watch the trailer right away and i expected her to be oh whatever..more harry potter stuff cause that's how she usually is. but then when it ended she was like OOMG and absolutely loved it and said she cannot wait for the movie! so the trailer did make non-harry potter fans (well not obsessive fans like most people on here are) want to see the movie! so they obviously did a really good job! it looks amazing. but now she's getting annoyed with me watching it over and over and over and becoming more harry obsessed by the minute. haahahah

I believe Ginny in a robe has to do with a rumor of an attack on the burrow being added to the movie. I can't believe they put Greyback in the trailer! Definitely worth the wait! :)

did anybody else notice that at least in the memories they use a really narrow depth of field? almost everything but the people's faces are blurry.

i would say the ginny in her night gown would be when it's the attack on the burrow, but we saw that whole harry/ginny shoe lace tying picture and they said they're about to kiss, but the death eaters come in and ruin everything..and in that picture it seemed daytime and ginny was wearing clothes, not a night gown..so IDK!

i thought the trailer was AMAZING! i really liked the focus of it. i really like how not to much of the story was revealed...they kept it really simple and mysterious. i still think the trailer for ootp was better. actually i thought the ootp trailer was better than the ootp movie. haha. but this trailer was really good to. even though i drove myself mad waiting so long for it...its all worth it because now i am so excited for the movie. it seems like its been ages since since any harry potter related anything has been released...i feel pretty satisfied right now. this summer seems so boring compared to last summer...what with ootp and the last book coming out and everything. all we have this summer is the hbp trailer. it makes me sad in a way. oh well..i'm going to watch the trailer another thousand times before i go to sleep. this movie is going to be epic!

Hmm, it certainly surpassed my expectations...I actually LIKED it. Unlike previous trailers (which seemed too scattered) I love how this one is entirely centered on one aspect that, in a way, captures the essence of the entire novel (well, movie in this case). I'm actually somewhat looking forward to the movie now. Oh, and by the way, young Tom is perfect and Gambon's portrayal of Dumbledore thus far is pretty good.

I thought Tom FREAKED when he saw the wardrobe on fire b/c all his possessions were in it. Not what I expected, but good for the trailer i guess.

I confess myself...disappointed. I had to wait until now to see the trailer (I promised my sister I'd watch it with her), and reading all of your comments made me really excited to see it. Now that I have, though, I don't feel how I would have thought I would feel. I thought I'd feel really excited about the movie after watching this, but strangely I don't feel any more excited than I did before. Dont get me wrong, I do appreciate the artistry it took to make the trailer ---it did seem to capture the mysterious, dark aspect of HBP quite well--- but somehow something is missing from it for me. *shrugs* Despite this, I still firmly believe that HBP will be amazing. I guess this just wasn't the right trailer for me.

This was freaking amazing! Loved the intro music and the frequent flashes between frames! Also loved the young Tom Riddle he was SO creepy and just SO perfect for the part and I especially loved the flash from young TR to present day TR - AMAZING! My only complaint is that if I recall correctly the young Dumbledore was supposed to have auburn hair not black..but that's only a little detail. I can't wait to see this movie! best trailer ever!

THAT WAS AWESOME! It was worth waiting for. Of course, they didn't give to much away, I was definately looking for a longer trailer but after seeing how Yates has filmed HBP, I have nothing more to say. It was better then I have imagined when I first read HBP. When I first learnd that David is going to direct this movie, I was a bit worred about whether he will be able to do a good job... But after watching this teaser trailer, I am now sure that David Yates was the right and perfect man for the job. Can't wait for the rest of the movie! Ohh! Man, this movie is going to rock! P.S.
