omg, pleaseeeeeeeeeee don't delay the video game!!! Its bad enough they're delaying the film!!! EA have got to think, if they release the game in November, they will sell a lot more than if they release it in July because its nearly Christmas and people like me have been dying to get the game for Christmas!!! Also, the game was set for release on November 14th wasn't it? That was a week before the film was going to be released! So, people still would have been spoiled! I'm so furiously upset about this! That's made the wait go from three months to eleven! Although, to everyone who is angry at Twilight for stealing the spot, get over it. It's Warner Brothers' fault for moving Harry Potter. You can't blame Summit for wanting a better release date. Personally, and don't get me wrong, Harry Potter was my first obsession and I love it as much as anyone (if not more so), but I'm more excited about the Twilight movie. Because they seem to be staying more true to the book... you have to admit, the last few Harry Potter movies have been steadily leaving out more and more detail. Order of the Phoenix is almost like watching a looooong long long trailer. How can you not like Twilight?! Edward Cullen is love. The Twilight series is amazing (still, Harry Potter is first). But Twilight is a close second. The movie looks great.

i will go see it at the midnight release. the whole reseaon WB did this was to increase their sales and let more people have the chance of seeing it. i think boycotting is NOT a good idea becuz you will bring shame to HP. i do think it is a good idea to wear HP merchandise to the Twilight release. :) and to send howlers and call WB becuz it willl drive them insane and show them how dedicated we are to HP unlike them who are mainly dedicated to higher sales.

@dont_look_down, they absolutely have enough money to shoot DH, even we Potterfans boycot and protest the movie by not going. It is WB that we're talking about, I mean, we don't care what a bullshit DH movie will come if we don't go and see HBP. It is our right to protest this delay decision, because sooner or later they are going to release it in order to make us go and buy tickets. Think about this: In its first opening day, HBP makes a 4-5 million dollar money. What would this mean? Of course that we hate them at the moment and maybe for several months. Keeping a movie that "as they say it has been finished a long ago" for summer to get more money means that: "We know that there are lots of Potter fans worldwide and they will come and see the movie. But if we put the movie at the summer time, whether fans will be waiting less or more, is better because we can earn more money." And they don't put all the money that they earn directly to the next movie, they spend it - they spend our money!

To all those that say don't boycott that it doesn't do anything are wrong-this is where you hit them-in the wallet. A boycott will have no impact on The last two movies-it is a multi-billion dollar industry. It will have no affect on the actors, etc. because they all have contracts. It does not affect JK because she is already the richest woman in Great Britain. I've just sent a feedback and a comment to Warner Bros. I checked all the negative choices on the feedback, and I wrote something -not so rude- as a comment to the company. If they don't make a greater excuse in these upcoming week, I'll be hating WB more and more. They have two choices: Either give us a better, very better reason so that we can say "Oh OK, we'll wait for the next summer"; or stop playing with the release date of HBP. I don't have any grudge on "Twilight" movie, I have nothing to say about it, only HBP.

Hasn't Daniel Radcliff been in this play for a few years now?? He's an actor, he's not really Harry Potter...he has the right to perform in what he chooses...this play has not effected any of the other HP films. I feel sorry for Stephenie Meyer....Twilight is in no way affiliated with HP or WB films...this is something this poor woman has to deal with all the time...constant comparisons. I love both Twilight and HP. I love to read and to be honest I love Lord of the Rings better than those two! You can be fans of all you know. Ok, I've read Twlight, and I'll admit it's a good book, but hello. it will never, ever be as great as HP! November 21st was supposed to be OUR day, when all the fans could flock to the movie theatres for what looked like a great movie. And then. out of nowhere, this stupid announcement turned our entire fandom upside down, and we're left with nothing but a few cruddy pictures and almost a whole year's wait till the movie. Just to let the summer theory notion is wrong.. Many American schools are year around. Ours started 7-22-08 this year. Do you think kids are going to be able to go many times next year? Being a true harry potter fan does not mean you have to boycott wb movies. I know nothing about twilight besides the fact that it is about vampires. Just because I am saying don't boycott harry potter or twilight does not mean I work for them. erin2m5 Yes - the world is run by money. But haven't You learned anything from the HP books? To stand by and do nothing is to let Voldemort win. Money just means power and the studios want a lot of power at our expense. The difference between us and the studios is that WE can love. We can love our books, our characters, our films. The studios only look at HP as power. I will boycott because WB and Twilight because I love HP - it's what I can do to make a small difference. The thing that I'm suspicious about though - is that MN and LC are so silent. Are all those tickets to premiere's, parts in movies, etc.etc. mean that both these sites are in bed with WB? I hope not.
