Deathly Hallows filming preparation underway
Back in May we told you that filming in the beautiful landscapes of Lochaber was expected to start late this year. Lochaber News is now reporting that filming scouts are observing the area and getting ready for b-roll shoots:Film executives and location and special effects personnel have just completed an updating recce of the four picturesque glens which have featured in all the previous Harry Potter blockbusters.
They were researching the eventual making of not one but two movies out of JK Rowling's seventh and last best seller, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, which was published last year. Teams of cinematography experts and production designers visited Glenfinnan, Glen Etive, Glencoe and Glen Nevis, all Lochaber landmarks which have already become established in the series.
As we learned earlier this year, cast filming for Deathly Hallows will not begin until February.

That's cool, but I wish I could go see the sites of HP...& yea, I soooo agree Potterrrr! I was really excited that HP 6 WAS coming out the day b4 my bday, b/c then I coulda watched it on my bday (Nov 22!) grr, darn WB! :@ I can't wait for Deathly Hallows, but then again I can, b/c it's the last & finally movie of the Harry Potter series :'(

Awsome---but at the same time this is real depressing. Just think about it- we'll be getting DH pictures before we even see HBP :( that really sucks...we should be seeing HBP tomorrow- tomorrows going to be a really sad day
I cannot wait for DH to be a movie! I wonder how it's goint to turn out! 10th
People still talk about DH being two separate movies. I thought it was one movie, split in two, there is a difference. Actually, they should have split it like Gone with the Wind. One movie, with an intermission. Shown on the same day. Then they could still get everything in. GWTW was originally eight hours. They were able to edit it down to four and audiences sat thru it all. DH should have been down the same way. Six months between two parts doesn't make sense. Yeah it's for the money. But, they could have down it another way. Done deal, don't complain. People can complain still about HBP being moved, I can complain about DH.
Is anyone gonna post pictures of the landscape areas where they will be filming? That'd be great to see.
thats great in all--but tomorrow is going to be a depressing day its sopposed to be the day HBP comes out...sadness *weeps*
OMGGG I cannot wait! But I don't want the series to end! Gosh I can't believe we all could've been seeing HBP right now.

ah i cant believe it either, we could be going to a midnight release for hbp in less then 6 hours... oh well ill see twilight! anywho its good to hear about what else is going on in the harry potter world! I cant wait for DH to hit theaters. yay (:
Omg! I watched the new trailer again tonight, and I was like dang, i could be seeing this in theatres in 6 hours!!!
Oh gawd. I can't believe this. Today, instead of watching Twilight, I was supposed to watch HBP. Makes me wanna cry >.< (I live in Puerto Rico, so it started today and my best friends are twihards so I watched the movie with them :P)
wow deathly hallows is going to be one long movie! but deffinitlyyy worth it! cant wait! and im also upset about the new release date for harry potter 6! All my friends are going to see twilight tomorrow but i never read the book so im not bothering. ahhh we could have been seeing this moviee on friday!!

Thats pretty cool, I can not wait for HBP though. deathly Hallows will hopefully be amazing. IT IS SUCH A SHAME THOUGH THAT HBP WOULD HAVE COME OUT TOMORROW THOUGH.

Wouldn't it be a shock to us ALL if they did release HBP tomorrow? I would be SOOOOO happy! :) But, as we all know, that's NOT going to happen! *whaaa* :'(
I can wait to see HBP and the two DH. This is longest wait for any fan to wait for a movie. I be looking forward to see Twiligth because the day of the release of the HBP day before, let's hope everything is good.

I used to live there! Beautiful location for scenery and shooting. Makes me sad that I didn't stay.
