To be honest.... I think playing Luna is a tough role to play so, I'm not too sure if she'll be able to act that dreamy and I duno.... weird!!!! so I'm looking forward to see if she can pull it off in the movie or do you guys think the director will just ask her to play luna simply as a quiet girl? I really hope they stick to the details of the book.

i'm still not 100% sure about her for luna... i hope she does well so far she has mixed reviews ..anyone know for sure?

I think she definately looks the part. I'm taking Rowling's word for it when she thinks she's 'perfect.' Evanna could be looking through these comments right now and if she's already seeing people questioning her ability to fill this role, honestly, it hurts. Especially for someone so young. So lets keep any comments that are negative reguarding her ability to act to yourselves, because it serves no purpose.

well, she won't be perfect for everyone. a lot of people ignore the description in the books and go on their own. my mental image of luna and the other characters comes from mary grandpre's illustrations. they're very good. then again, the first time i read the 5th book, i imagined luna with strawberry blonde hair. although evanna looks perfect for the role too. =]. i hope that the interview goes well, and that they'll post a transcript of it, because i'd rather read it than watch it.

When I saw the very first official picture of Evanna (the one where she is holding the book by the tree or something like that) I said "what the hell". She didnt look like Luna at all. But when the second picture came out, i could clearly see those wide blue eyes, blonde Lunaish hair, and i knew that the casting directors had chosen the perfect Luna. She had that dreamy look taht Luna has.
